Now if Xbox is limited to 250hz. Why then do they force GameSir to remove its 1000hz? I don't think it's the whole truth when they claim that it will be unfair to other players who use a standard control. So yes, 1000hz worked on Xbox before GameSir removed the feature. Otherwise, MS would have let them keep it.

1000hz still works on xbox, you can test it, plug the roller on your pc, set the 1st profile to 250hz, 2nd profile 500hz, 3rd profile to 1khz then plug it on your xbox try each one on a fps game that you play a lot and are good at, youll see the difference

xbox disables DLI if you send over 125 hz meaning 1000hz does work xbox controllers however are limited to 250

@@SalmNazhad To be totally honest with you, only update the controller if it’s not working perfectly, because updating can sometimes cause problems rather than fix them. So unless you’re having an actual issue in games I would just leave it and not update

I thought 1000Hz worked on Xbox because on the Nexus app on the profile page it says in red Please use the PC to switch the report rate to 250Hz on both my G7SE and G7HE

@@davidhughes1275 Yes it can be very misleading but the Xbox simply cannot input a polling rate more than 250hz and a lot of controllers are actually only 125hz

@INTHEARKADE Cheers for the info fella makes sense that Microsoft would cap the limit to 250Hz. So if I leave it set to 1000Hz then it will still run at 250Hz regardless

Can confirm the G7SE runs faster at the higher polling rate on Xbox. When setting the polling rate to 250hz vs 1000hz, there is a NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE in response time. It does work. Not as well as PC, but it does work. I’ve been using the G7SE for over a year.

@@AudioAddict. it doesn’t let you change at all so I have to assume it’s 250 max. Don’t let it stop you buying the controller! Even when we test the controller on 250hz, it’s still more accurate than other 250hz controllers. And it’s one of the most comfortable controllers I’ve used, with the back buttons in the perfect place! No stupid paddles. Get the controller 💪🏽

Hey! I play Warzone on an Xbox Series X. I just ordered this controller and it’s coming in on Tuesday. I have a laptop, no PC. Should I just plug & play w/ the controller? Or do you recommend I do something with this software before playing? I’m not very techy, but I can manage by following videos lol And just for the sake of getting the info… If I were to overclock it on Xbox at 1000hz, how would I use a gaming headset? Would I need to purchase a wireless headset w/ a USB dongle since the 1000hz disables the headphone jack?

@@frankgagliardi3363 Great controller so you'll love it! Just plug and play for Xbox. Download the game sir app and check it's up to date. You can't overclock on Xbox anyway it's max 250hz so you can still use your headset

@@frankgagliardi3363 Yes the OC settings will save and transfer over to Xbox, but what some people don't understand is that the Xbox itself does not take inputs that fast. It may feel more responsive but it's mostly placebo effect. I recommend using the controller out of the box on console because it's still worth every penny! I'll cover more if this in one of my next videos

@@Coverpage2568 Yes that's normal, I think it uses the headphones jacks input to send the controller signal and that's how it does it faster

The G7 is NOT as good as the SE. HALL EFFECT sticks and triggers on the SE whereas the normal G7 does NOT have Hall effect sticks. I have them both. Can confirm.

You are incorrect my friend. Microsoft themselves only offers official support for a 125hz polling rate on 3rd party controllers on their Xbox platform. (Or 124hz to be precise) The console itself is not locked at either 125hz or 250hz. That's why Gamesir had to remove that feature on the Nexus app. It was that or lose the licence.

My G7SE controller doesn't give me the option to change it to 1000hz pulling rate when I plug it into my laptop, on my pc, my wife's laptop or my friend's PC I don't get an option....... Never had problems with my Power A fusion pro 2 controller had it for almost 3 years before I got stick drift and I still have it, I have tested the two controls for a while now and I can tell you folks now the power A is WAYYYYYYYY more responsive and like I said I played with it 3 years not just a few months. I have Both controls and I'm telling you guys Power A is more responsive I don't know about pro 3 and the new 4 but power A fusion pro 2 is TOPS!! I'm not a youtuber nor am I sponsored.... I won't buy another G7 controller even if it takes long to ever get stick drift. If I need to buy a controller ever year and a half or 2 years that's fine and I'm a huge call of duty player 95% of my time that's what I play and I also 99% of the time snipe. Trust me guys don't get this control

Connect the controller to another device Xbox/PC/Laptop and see if the issue still happens. 3. Reset the controller to default settings in the Gamesir Nexus app. If none of that works then you should email Gamesir as it may be faulty

Ive had my g7 se for almost 3 months. I wasnt sure about it either and thought it might be placebo. I went back n fourth dozens of times testing it on different games on 250 and 1000. Its safe to say its not placebo guys, there is a huge difference and if you have a 1ms response monitor paired with the 1000hz youll see that its almost instant response time. Ive played xbox since cod 4 and world at war and ive gone through every kind of controller and even ones with mods. If your a true gamer your brain notices this difference cause its used of the response time already. Unless youve gone through and tested yourself like i have or plenty of others then dont just believe a couple comments youve seen or post on reddit guy. You have no evidence supporting your claim so how do you even stand by saying it doesnt work if you never tried it? Your a content creator man so do the work yourself before putting false statements and opinions when you have no clue about the real results yourself.

I always appreciate your input on your experiences, but Gamesir have made the statement that there is NO benefit to setting 1000Hz on Xbox consoles. Additionally, The PhotoTechy has thoroughly tested this with an automated testing method and a high FPS camera, which proves that the input latency is not reduced or increased when the controllers are set to 1000Hz on console, which is why the ability to change this has been removed from the console app
