No Ratchet and Clank game clocks in at 15-20 hours. They're usually around 7-12 hours. Up Your Arsenal was the ONLY main title to feature multiplayer (unless you count Deadlock/Gladiator). Not sure how you're remembering things but it didn't have note worthy character development. I struggle to think who you could even be referring to. Lastly Full Frontal Assalt is only $20, with a 3-5 hour campaign, and really fun multiplayer. It's worth the money, and doesn't seem like they stopped caring.

Future was omitted from the title in PAL regions (for whatever reason). Full Frontal Assault's PAL name is Q-Force and neither title (or All 4 One, for that matter) is related to the Future trilogy.

Well you also have Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, Size Matters, Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, a Crack in Time was originally supposed to be called Clock Blockers and All 4 One had various prototype names like 4 Multiple Organisms, Bro's before Foes and 4 Play, so yeah.

Have you seen the other Titles for R&C games? "Full Frontal Assault" is pretty normal when you've got other games named "Up Your Arsenal", "Going Commando", "Size Matters" and "Quest For Botty".

(Part 4)- Another problem, even if you purchase for every weapon, mod and armor in the game you'll still have bolts left, also a small thing, while this isn't a big problem i just have to mention it cause this is one of the things the game gets praised about all the time: 5. The graphics aren't all that amazing! Average lighting, low res textures, low polygon counts in models, clanks ball thingy on his antenna is a hexagon and ratchet's face has barely any fur and his eyes look weird.

Also Ken Levine didn't leave out Multiplayer just to avoid a tacked on experience he did it since when he's team made System Shock 2 they found it made the single player weaker as well as making the multiplayer a tacked on experience. Now that's not to say Multiplayer ruins single player just that some people don't have enough time to allocate to both. What's great is that Bioshock infinite and The Last Of Us could show next year that either method can create a great experience.

One thing I didn't like was the in-ability to play Campaign Co-Op with anyone. I like to meet new people when playing online, and I prefer it in Co-Op.

(Part 2) -1. Ratchet moves slow and sluggish in ToD, he isn't as agile as in UYA or does have something to get around with in levels like in aCiT 2. The mini games in ToD feel tacked on and are too easy, you just move left or right, maybe press 1 button, while i do appreciate that it isn't cheap like for example GC, in GC after doing those mini games YOU ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE YOU ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING 3. You can just breeze through the game, i beat the game in 8 hours and i was like 'that's it?'-

While there is no reason they can't have both in this title the single player doesn't sound as strong as the multiplayer. To me that's one of the reasons R&C fans buy into these games.

(Part 3) 4. The weapons are utterly useless, while the enemies aren't hard, they do take a crapload of ammo, your weapons are only usefull for one level and then they already become absolete, it's like they didn't know how to balance weapons properly so they just threw in as much as they could, actually, they did, they just gave you the alpha disruptor, one of the most powerful guns in the game, no paying bolt, even though there are plentiful-

I played future tools of destruction, and A crack in time (the only 2 I played on ps3) and I would probably give them both high a 8/10, simply because they are fun, have good graphics, and are better than most other games. However, they could be so much better if the developers invested more time into the story, or lengthened the campaign, or added some type of multi player or online. I also noticed sales of Ratch and Clank games sales have plummeted since last generation.

(Part 1) Underrated? It's the best selling R&C game on the PS3! It won many awards, it's critically acclaimed and called the game along with Super Mario Galaxy that saved the 3D Platforming, yeah, "underrated", if you ask me the only reason why it got so much praise was cause it's the only other 3D Platformer out on the PS3 at the moment was Sonic 06, the game's not bad, but there are some problems i have with it-

Does anyone else miss the classic R&C games? They were great up through the Future series, but A4O and FFA are lacking what makes an R&C game great.. I really hope Insomniac gets back to that classic style in the next title, I miss it.

(Last Part) Just to make it short, i find ToD overrated because it's incredibly unbalanced enemies are too easy yet take too much time to kill, the graphics aren't as amazing as everyone says, and the minigames like the robowings and the on rail space segments just feel tacked on and are too easy to leave an impact, aCiT improved on a lot on those things and UYA didn't suffer much from them, still it's a good game but that's just how i feel about it

Well first off since time is always a factor yes in some cases adding a multiplayer can effect the single player hence why Ken Levine decided not to add one to Bioshock Infinite. R&C dosen't suffer from this. Now I'm not saying multiplayer ruined the single player just that single player wasn't as strong a focus this time round. That's great for people who like multiplayer but R&C is known for it's single player campaigns and the change of focus could put some people off this title.

but its not,w/ an online mode, alongside a solo and co-op 5 hour campaign that has secrets that involve exploration, and has a polished and well thought out multiplayer, that isnt tacked on like some other games i know of, and isnt like CoD with a tacked on single player as well. I really like this game, and for those complaining 'make a new trilogy', well the HD collection came out. Play that. Deadlocked HD is out soon, so thts 5 ratchet and clank games in a year, more than can say for jak

First of all I'm not trying to create controversies been a Ratchet and Clank fan for many years now, and I've always enjoyed them. However like most loyle fans, I also happen to be critical of what I support. Now a days most ratch and clanks are only about 8-12 hours long, with no split screen, co-op, a mediocre story with no emotional appeal, and usually only have 3 difficulties. I can easily beat the game with only dying a few times on the hardest difficulty.

Yes the graphics are good and even if it wasn't it would be only a minor flaw, but it was blown WAY out of proportion, and take a good look at the models of Cronk and Zephyr, that was just a thing i had to get out of the way as it's constantly mentioned by everyone, same as that everyone says it's the best of the series, i didn't have ToD but started the PS3 ones with aCiT and everyone said it was better so i had high expectations that were squandered after i actually got to play it

It's been out for months! Just look up the R&C collection or R&C trilogy if you live in Europe, it includes the first 3 R&C games, you can get it for like 30$ by now, Deadlocked HD will come out next month on PSN, so can so stop complaining already?!

Not for this game, i do recommend Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and a Crack in Time, other games that should be good would be Journey, Flower, Flow, The Unfinished Swan, Wipeout HD, Superstardust HD, Littlebigplanet 1 and 2, Infamous, Starhawk, Warhawk, Uncharted, God of War, Pixeljunk, Twisted Metal, Dead Nation, Yakuza, Demon's Souls, 3D Dot Game Heroes and more, look at them first before you buy, this game alone isn't worth it

Thank you some won who gives a good feel to this game the multiplayer is the real kick it's lots of fun to just watch your enemy struggle to defend his base because he spent all his bolts on attacks in the first Round

Yeah R&C could have a good multiplayer easily but I'd rather have a game like Crack In time with a strong multiplayer rather then this game which sounds like a strong multiplayer with a tacked on Single player.

Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal had an online multiplayer similar to this game, yet it was released in 2004. Call of Duty 4 came out in 2007 where the craze began.

The game should really be played in 3d it looks awesome in 3d . I have yet to play on line I just picked it up today . I know there are five levels im already on the 4th in one night and will im sure beat it by tomorrow its not tuff for single player . It is really fun I really enjoy playing the game setting up defences is fun along with attacking bases. Hope people are still playing it on line so i can play with them . For the 16 bucks i got it for i give it an 10 out of 10 .
