FIFA is robotic in moves, the controller is more natural for Pes, sliding tackles are way better in Pes becase you can slide and gain the ball from the back of opposite players, if you do that in fifa is either a fould or you just kick the ball from the opposite player. Crossing are better in Pes, you have the option to cross at grass level, on first bar and second bar. Tactical dribling and player movements are made with perfection in PES, in Fifa you have robot player unable to do dribblings or move naturaly. And the last one which makes the game a pleasure in PES is the ball. Passes are so realistic that when you get used with you can pass like in a real match. I forgot about goalkeepers which can make you a great save or a terrible mistake like in real life. To experience that and get rid of FIFA manipulation just play PES for a week and you ll see the difference.

Last year i preferred fifa 17 but this year pes 2018 takes the cut for me. Player movements and position is much better in pes. Also the crossing is more efficient. And player physics feel more prominent. It feels more realistic

So true! Me and my friends always played FIFA, but through passes make your defenders look like total fools in 18. Back in the days we enjoyed tight games, now you can simply overrule your opponents defense with way too overpowered players like Ronaldo or Griezmann. We have final scores now of 6-3, 4-6...while 17 gave us exciting close games with not much to lose.

PES is in another league in the most important gaming trait. Gameplay. I've got both games and FIFA is same old. You never feel fully in control. AI is average..same repetitive attacks. PES is far smoother,responsive...far bigger range of goals...attacks and movement. Just pop in the options file on PS4 and you have the best of the favourite leagues and players. On pitch PES is head and shoulders over Fifa!

"Tactical Defending" on FIFA 18 sucks, and they disabled "Legacy Defending" in FUT mode, that's why i switched to PES for now, defending is much better on PES atm.

I'm a huge football enthusiast and I really, really like the almost simulation feel you get from PES. However, FIFA has a fun factor and value for money that is crazy good. There's no words to describe how good FUT is this year. Squad Battles, SBC's, Drafts, FUT champions... there's something in there for all type of players and it's never been easier to actually get really good players, I mean by just being really good at the game you can basically afford any player if you do well in FUT champions. On top of FUT there's The Journey which is a work in progress but such a cool game mode. Then there's career mode & online seasons, it really is a game that you can play for a whole year, while PES dies off quite early because there's not much to do. That's just my opinion but I love that both exist and that both are so good because believe it or not fan boys, "your" competitor makes your game BETTER, so stop the bias and hate please!

There is something that annoys me the most about PES, The Commentary. It is so boring. Master League is good but Transfer System is Nonsense unlike FIFA's Transfer system. Gameplay is better on PES due to player movements and dribbling. But when it comes to Graphics, FIFA is better. License is another problem of PES. But the main edge FIFA has over PES to me is The Journey. Become A Legend cannot be compared to The Journey. The journey has it all. My club needs improvement, It is a little bit complex unlike FUT. In conclusion, My advice is: If u are a person looking for the best gameplay, Go for PES But if u are a person that u want to play and enjoy all the modes, FIFA is perfect. Finally, If u are a person who wants to enjoy both Manager and Career mode, FIFA is perfect.

I was sold on FIFA's presentation. ESPN 2K5 presentation was phenomenal back in 2004 and has never been beaten. FIFA is getting close to that. All it needs is the MOTD license (or a world friendly alternative), which shows after game analysis (with commentary) as well as highlights from other matches. And I love The Journey, a giant leap ahead of what PES is offering.

Both are very good, and both have pros and cons. FIFA's cons are: It gets a little repetitive over time. You feel like you're doing the same thing all over again. This of course doesn't apply to FUT, because you could get an openent that is extremely bad, or you could get a person 10 times better than you. Also, the player faces... they used to haunt me at night. Pros: It has good graphics. It has licences, and also if you are looking for an online competitive game, then FIFA is the right one for you. PES's cons are: It is very closed. If you are not a Barcelona, Liverpool or Paris Saint Germain fan, then you won't have a fun time. Also, I hope you like Madrid White, Manchester Red and Manchester Blue, cause those are the teams that you will be playing as. Pros: The gameplay. It is a challenge, and if you like challenges like I do, then PES is the right game for you. The player faces are waaay better than FIFA's, and the graphics are okay; not too good, not too bad. There. It only comes to personal preferences.

One thing that PES has over FIFA is the giant edit mode. For most people they just use this to try and turn the generic teams into their real life counterparts. But that is not what I'm talking about. This advantage I'm talking about with edit mode is basically only aimed at certain individuals... the kind of people; like myself, that like to have massive creative control in a game. The few of us that take full advantage of PES' edit mode are the imaginative types that; instead of just tediously making real life teams, we go in and make What We Want instead. I haven't bought a PES game in awhile but in the last one I bought I made all kind of teams in different cities here in the USA. I actually made MLS teams... But then I made a bunch of teams for cities that don't have teams, or they have small teams and I decided to make completely different teams instead. It's great. I like to have the US Open Cup with a Bunch of US teams. Instead of just the MLS like in FIFA. Plus I also went in and made the Liga MX teams I kind of like. But I didn't stop there. I went and made some teams from Central America as well. Like Saprissa. So I can have the CONCACAF Champions League. lol. But yeah I really enjoy the teams and leagues I've made with edit mode. Especially my original teams. Nobody messes with Birmingham FC. lol. I know I'm a rare bird when it comes to this but next time you buy a PES game... think about the possibilities! :P

I respect your opinion and here is mines. PES is for casual gaming by yourself, you have so much serious competitions with FIFA. PES is trying and are coming good I must say, but still a far cry from FIFA, Journey, the revamp transfers the overall Career mode overhaul in FIFA 18 is nice. My downside to FIFA18 vs 17 is that 18 feels a bit easier somewhat.

I have good experience in PES and FIFA both are good, In my opinion, PES for beginers in soccer games and it is funny for them. But, FIFA is customised for professional players. Menus, Graphic, Story Mode are really good in FIFA. I hope everyone test both games to judge which of them is suitable for you. Thanks for this video 💗

Absolutely agree! Last year I bought FIFA 17 and The Journey was interesting but the gameplay wasn't doing for me. This year I tried to return to PES after years and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Of course the presentation on EA games is HUGELY better, but PES is SO MUCH BETTER on the pitch... It's worth mentioning that the fanbase immediately brought all the original championships, kits and logos to all teams on the Konami game.

I always feel as a casual football gamer, it all comes down to the clubs that both games have. In Australia, I play FIFA for the A League to play as Melbourne Victory but I also play PES for the international teams such as Australia playing against Japan you can't get in FIFA because Konami has license to Japanese team. Also nothing beats playing international game in Sitama Stadium while Stadium Hangok was more like the FIFA equivalent.

It's really simple despite the fact PES has better gameplay we all know that does not matter, authenticity and the game modes are what really make u play the game. With FIFA's modes such as FUT, Journey or even pro clubs will always attracts players instead of them getting PES

well having fifa 18 and pes 18, last pes i had was 16 when they only had a last gen port, now that it is a current gen, I can say PES might be better. Fifa 18, still plays like fifa, if you played since fifa 05 (i played fifa 02 on the pc but its not comparable to any fifa now) putting it on an easy difficulty, its still not hard to score 10 goals. Now playing pes 18 on an easy difficulty, what i had on my first game was a 2-2 draw. same controls as in fifa, and that is what i got. switching though can be a pain.

We all know we can patch them both, but PES is more realistic and the faces are clearly identical than FIFA, I played once FIFA n I saw that u can clearly make a player even if lowest ovr make a shot 100% in, but in PES, u have 50/50 chance to score and it depends on Prescision (FIFA is same, but it's "assisted") FIFA is graphical presentation of football/soccer what gamers want, PES is a soccer/football game , we can be happy that there are patches

I'm just a casual, so I pick PES because it feels more simple to play. I can't barely shoot the ball playing FIFA, I'm terrible at FIFA but decent at PES. And I don't care much about licenses because I'm the one who likes to edit kits by myself (I know the 'Option File' stuff but I got XBOX, so you know...).

The thing with FIFA is that it's allot easier to play making it allot more accessible for people. If you have bunch of mates over for a night of beer and gaming for example, unless they're all PES players, you're going to get more fun out of FIFA.

I have both. I can tell you that PES is infinitely more enjoyable. As a PS4 user, the option files completely negate licensing issues. And having the Champions League licensing is great with PES. But after dozens of hours with both, the simple enjoyment I get out of seeing new passes, interceptions, and goals everytime I play is something FIFA can't match with its robotic gameplay. The only thing I would take from FIFA is the new contract negotiation interface. PES's Master League is beyond stale.

Pes 2018 is my best favourite game. The graphics are awesome. The intro is good too. And the commentary are the best. I just focusing on the commentary. It just like playing a broadcast live match. I was talking about the mobile version.

I actually like how Fifa has changed its gameplay. If you look at Fifa 15 every single player moved and dribbled like Cristiano Ronaldo it was so stupid now you can't just dribble forward at super speed and dodge tackles by doing nothing but spamming skill moves or shooting from 50 yards out with guys like benzema. I mean you could literally run in a straight line from kickoff and you had like a 50% chance on getting through on goal by doing nothing. People don't like that it's getting harder to be good but it should be difficult to dribble through entire teams considering how few players can actually do it. Another thing that's way better now is the passing. You actually have to face the direction you want to pass and it takes the balls momentum into consideration when in games like 15 and 16 you could just spam pass and get beautiful tiki take moves without even meaning too
