Wendigos are brutal, seriously not only they're creepy, they durable as hell, not even a shotgun can hurt them, and fire unleashes their spirits. I would hate to meet them unless I'm Deadpool or Wolverine.

@@nomado.3855 Deadpool is infinite food or becomes the hardest to kill Wendigo. Wolverine becomes the strongest Wendigo.

To be honest. I think they shouldve stuck with the original sounds of the wendigos. There was something off putting about the original screams

@@party_kasuto I think it's the screeching that really made it work for them. It made them as supernatrual as they needed to be. Like a mix of a brutal hunting monster and a angry spirit. Without it, they just seem like a scary animal or something, which doesn’t really fit for what they are.

You have to admit like the actual remake of the wendigos are ten times realistic looking in the game more than the old version of it

Even 9 years later, the dog is alive in our hearts. Once you make the right choices to keep the dog alive, it gives you a trophy saying you kept it alive, so my bet is the dog made it out alive.

1:07 the scenes where the Wendigo's eyes just appear through little slits of wood creeped me the fuck out. I remember another seen where they walk past and Wendigo's just behind these wooden planks on the wall

There’s actual stories where people have SUPPOSEDLY encountered a Wendigo. The channel Bedtime stories elaborates on some of them. But if you want a real nightmare, look up the Cree Indian named Swift Runner.

Most Internet depictions of the Wendigo show a decaying half-human half-dear being, with the antlers being the most prominent feature. It was Until Dawn that actually showed the audience a culturally accurate depiction of the Wendigo - to sum it up (no disrespect intended here), imagine the holocaust survivors… but driven mad with a terrible darkness. Starved to the point of death… but not quite there just yet. The Wendigo looks like this because it’s CONSTANTLY starving, and that hunger only grows with every “meal” it gets. This is because with each meal the Wendigo grows in strength, becoming a much more powerful being ironically. Imagine being cursed with that - you consumed your fellow man, from now on your every meal only makes you hungrier.
