It actually looks like a healthy hybrid of both Pokémon and Digimon instead of a straight-up ripoff of one. I’m very curious to learn more, but that’s awesome that it’s by a Brazilian developer and seems to potentially incorporate its culture and legends with monsters. I’m all for learning about different myths and creatures!

Much as people like to joke, Nintendo doesn't own the right to "game where you collect monsters and battle them"; Palworld did actually steal assets, and even where it didn't it was banking on some *extremely* similar designs. Bagdex by contrast has: --- A very distinctive artstyle that for some reason is giving me early 90s Nickelodeon vibes --- A clear cultural theme for its creature designs and worldbuilding (Brazil)
