That's never gonna happen because it's a Tom Clancy game and Ubisoft bought all the rights to everything Tom Clancy. Giving that up would be like buying a mansion 16 years ago and selling it to someone for the price of renting a room.

What you're asking for is like saying Rockstar Games should sell GTA to Rockstar Noth and then sell Rockstar North to... Ubisot has done some crazy things but what you're suggesting is a straight fairytale.

If Ubisoft released Div 1 Survival standalone as a F2P game in 2016, they would’ve beat Fortnite to consoles by a year with a unique and polished “BR” game when PUBG was still a janky PC-only beta. It would probably be a multibillion dollar game right now. Massive missed opportunity.

The developers (the people actually coding a game) know almost nothing about the player other than what management tells them. Ubisoft and Massive are missing with their games because they don't have active Product Management and testers. They allow devs to fill those rolls and that is just bad practice. Thus, the games they make are not good.

D1 Survival was one of the best game modes ever made and the crazy part is there is a massive group of gamers who originally purchased the game then left (due to all the original issues) and weren't around to experience Survival when it was released. Can you imagine if Survival was ready from day 1 with Division. I'll give them credit for trying to capitalize on Survival with Heartland (it does mean they were listening to the player base who were pleading for a Survival mode for D2, but in the same breath they pissed a huge opportunity away by not even releasing a finished game and then having no plan to reintroduce this to D2. We can only hope they have this ready to go with D3, they really need to hit a home run with the next game. If they put out another turd that franchise is toast. With all that being said I'll be shocked if Ubi is still around by the time D3 is released.

The rumor is that Ubisoft/Massive are looking to sell off some of their IP. I think The Divison will be up for sale.

If the Devs stuck to the timeline they laid out for the Divison back in 2020, Ubisoft wouldn't be in this situation. Both The Division and the Division 2 were released on the PS Plus and Xbox game pass during that time. This brought in a new player base and Heartland and the mobile game were scheduled for release shortly afterward. Follow that up with the promised Netflix series and the Division franchise would have been solidified. Ubisoft has been trying for years to find a multiple-player pvp game like Cod or Fortnite, where they could milk microtransactions, hence why we got Xdefiant. They could have achieved this with the Division but they just didn't want to put the time or the effort in. Now it will cost them.

I've uninstalled de Ubisoft app from my pc, I've stopped played all their games. I don't have a lot of faith for div3 or anything. Unfortunately there's nothing as good as the Division franchise but, they've a lot to make up for all the waiting for new and vet players like me.. I'll keep following your vid's, it's always nice to hear from you regarding the Division community and their response on all news.. 🙂

Core Division audience can bring money ONLY if there is an in-game shop. We all know, how Ubisoft is blamed for in-game shopping. That's why they can't rely on the Division core audience. They need to attract a larger number of players who buy the game, play for 50 hours and leave. That's why Massive have to make a game they never worked on: linear story, attractive characters, high-quality cutscenes, light and straightforward gameplay for newcomers, deep and challenging gameplay for oldies. They tried in Avatar and Outlaws. They were not successful. But right now, they know better, what else should they do to make a game they need.

48% of video gamers in us are female. why did it feel the need to state 'the remaining 52% are male'? what else could they be, dogs? aliens? the issue with the division IP was the serious errors made by changing things from division 1 that didnt need changing. world tiers being one way and only available to go up by completing the 3 strongholds. no way back down if you agent just got oneshotted at the new tier leaving players like me reluctant to engage with world tiers at all. and the WONY prison with the hated keener fight, stuck there unable to return to DC until keener is beaten. stupid decision and no wonder the dlc didnt sell well enough. the map wasnt really big enough and had no dark zone... which was another mistake, listening to ubi who wanted a pvp esport different to rainbow 6 and told massive to make the big DC darkzone small so pvp was forced. result? not many except people who live for pvp bothered due to not being interested in pvp and therefore not able to do pve darkzone plus the ganking losing dz xp meaning they couldnt level up in there due to pvp obsessives just shooting them down. so only a small number of players used the DZ unlike the huge one in the first game where the pvpers could have fun, and the pve farmers could farm landmarks and usually avoid the pvp crowd. i myself left after deleting an agent stuck in ny unable to beat keener without skills, and went back to 1 or other games entirely. given the huge number of problems which couldnt easily be fixed with patches (the one way world tiers was baked hard into the game code) ubi just moved massive onto other things and tried to get other studios to make spinoffs targeting non console and non pc markets. and thats why despite the success of the first division game, the brooklyn dlc for div 2 was cancelled and the game abandoned for 5 or 6 years.

The success formula is simple: just give people what they are used for and expect! No need to reinvent the bicycle! Div1 was a benchmark, devs diverted to other failing and unnecessary games...what a waste of time and money...

Personally, I have been dreaming about playing in the world of Pandora since 2009. With high graphics level, of course. Now I have this game and I'm happy 😀Great underrated game with great storytelling ideas. Star Wars game with no Jedi is also possible after Andor series release. Andor series has no Jedi at all, but it is brilliant and absolutely the best among all movies and TV shows.

24 man huge dark zone needs to return in D3. Survival, 24 man skirmish. More like D1 than D2. Descent and Summit are not meaningful content.

The Division 3 : all teh best from Div 1 and Div 2 (= Division 3 ) ITS FU*KING SIMPLE FORMULA. IS Ubisoft/Massive get it wrong AGAIN for the 3rd Time... I AM DONE With ubisoft!! Heartland should have always just been a DLC for division 2 with a gfx overhaul and RT features upgrade (RTGI / RT Shadows / RT Reflections etc.. )
