So, I got retroarch running and the PS1 games working for it, however I do notice a bit of sound and video lag every once in a while, do you know if there is any changes in the options I can make to have it run smoother? I Tried switching to vulkan, but that made retroarch force close and and I had to delete the .cfg files to return it to normal.

Thank you. I have the same Chromebook you mentioned in the video....I already have an nes and SNES emulator working with complete ROM paks. Been having trouble finding a Sega 32x emulator that works....Hopefully this will solve my problem.

Are there any particular gaming emulators that worked with chrome books, that can work with old ds and 3ds games, can multiplay with other users, play offline, be accessible from other devices with same data but must update emulator account with offline data to be same on other devices , worked with also like Minecraft, call of duty, GTA 5, almost any other game?

Wait what explain this to me a bit more. I didn't take computer class serious I'm good with computers but never had Internet to do shii at home just played on a desktop.

3ds might be a tough reach far as I know. It takes a decent phone or pc to run citra. I'm not sure what the extent of retroarch is in terms of emulators as well as multiplayer, there might be something there but outside of that I believe paid versions of citra might have that feature and drastic DS has the option but I've never got it to work. I think dolphin also has a similar feature, but I'd very much like to mention those new retro handhelds they keep releasing, and the GARLIC OS. Definetly look into that for ds and multiplayer etc.

Got PS2 games running on a free phone I signed up for. All I'm using is a PS4 controller and configuring it in AetherslSX2 just look up the bios you will be able to find them fast asf

honestly you dont even have to do all this, if you have a google play just get the emulation apps and it saves time

I have a powerful Chromebook with a Ryzen 7520C chip and 256gb SSD, so plenty powerful enough to run emulators. The problem isn't running them per see...the (BIG) problem is that firstly you cannot connect any controllers to anything running in the Linux container in Chrome. So I can get PSCX2 running fine in Linux but have only keyboard controls. I can actually install Retroarch via two different, non linux methods, as its on the playstore and also I can install Steam on my Chromebook and Retroarch via that. The android version of Retroarch that installs on my Chromebook (Acer CB Plus 514) is touch only and been as I don't have a touch screen is un-usable. Steam however installed fine and that version seems good - however the PS2 core isn't an option on this version of Retroarch. Even though I actually have the program installed and running in a Linux container on my system. So emulation on a Chromebook is possible but be prepared to pull your hair out.

The play store version does not allow mouse, so its bad, you cannot use the mouse, only the keyboards work and the play store version is intended to work on android mobile devices, not chromebooks

To play PS2 games you would need AethersSX2 from chrome

Great video! I only have one problem. When I try installing retroarch, I get this error: `Warning: Not exporting file org.libretro.RetroArch.appdata.xml of unsupported type.` And then when i run `flatpak run org.libretro.RetroArch` i get this error: `error: app/org.libretro.RetroArch/x86_64/master not installed`
