After 10 months of usage I noticed lots of "key chatter". This is where you press a key once but displays the letter / number pressed twice. Very annoying and frustrating especially when the key tops are almost impossible to removed in order to clean any dust / debri under them.

Absolutly stellar insight 👌 .Thank you so much for sharing this with us here and I will pin this comment.I was half expecting this to happen but as yet again with another expensive product we get the shortfalls of the design team's choices.But could you get it cleaned and workly properly in the end?Cheers buddy

@@Tech_Fusion There is quite a lot of KZbin talk about how to eliminate "keystroke chatter" and the usual remedy is to use compressed air to clean under the key tops. I've done this and the chatter has pretty much disappeared. Just something that cannot be completely eliminated due to constant dust particles flying around everywhere. But I don't mind keeping that can of compressed air close by for whenever it's needed.

@@phillipg1588 Yeah Im guessing that this can be an issue for some designs more then for others and it was to be expected even with such a low travel rate keyboard so I dont know why CORSAIR didnt account for this making the design of the keycaps removable.Im guessing its harder for larger pieces of debris to get under the keycaps but in case that happens I think that compressed air wont cut it anymore.Still its good to know that such a simple solution worked great to clean it out for you.Pinned the comment and thank you so much man for the feedback.Cheers :)

I've noticed that and that some of the slipstream or bluetooth signal is occasionally wonky, including double presses, missed presses, and so on. My biggest issue with the keyboard overall is the "software centric" lean into iCue which honestly is.... not great, and perhaps very assumed-to-be-intuitive and not. I've had a nightmare of trying to find simple macro setups, and I'm trying my best to love this keyboard, but coming from a Logitech G915 TKL I'm finding it a love-hate relationship.

@@michaelhorstmann7737 Yeah I ended up ditching the K100 Air and went with the Logitech G915 (tactile) 👍

As an avid (top) MOBA and MMO player, I've always loved laptop keyboards for the ability to 'slide' between keys quickly, and they were better for typing for me, too. Had an eye on this for a while, finally ordered today. Feeling pretty good after this review. Will be easier to clean the table without all the wires, too. Tried G915 at a local shop. Not for me, felt like weird middle ground.

Hi buddy,well appart from the MOBA part I've also played a great deal of MMO with classics such as WOW and I've only wished a keyboard like this existed back then.All in all I've bought the G915 along side this one to test them out and I'm 100% happy with the Corsair model and thats not for its crazy fast polling rate but for its general feel of the keys.Shallow,fast and overall great feel when using the keyboard.The G915 clicky that I've had for testing did feel a tad better at the feel when pressing the keys due to its rebound I would say but I really hated the wobbling key caps.Surely this keyboard from Corsair is a better rebrand of their competition(as the G915 came before this one) so Corsair did improve the design overall.Anways long story short I think you will be quite happy with it buddy so congrats on the purchase.Cheers

Feels VERY premium @@Tech_Fusion . Good purchase, although much like Darkstar the keys have a bit of a learning curve (more than usual) if you're used to other types of models. EDIT: Been using this for roughly 4 hours, and it feels amazing to type on.

Not being able to remove keys for cleaning looks like being a serious problem for long-term use. A fatal flaw in an otherwise near perfect keyboard?
@Tech_Fusion14 күн бұрын
So far since this review I didnt had to remove any of the key caps but If you have to...well....its not going to be easy.there's a 99% chance you will break the mechanism if you attempt to remove them(ask me how i know...since this is my second keyboard from the accident).Otherwise I love it,it works really good and its still keeping a proper bat charge even after all this time.Cheers bud

Had mine for longer than i can remember (Memory problems post Coma) but i do absolutely love this keyboard and associated mouse. Had a problem with the volume wheel not worling correctly but abit of air and ipa its now back to flawless.

Very cool buddy and it is indeed a very good keyboard.I had actually just bought another one as I managed to destroy 3 keys on it(the butterfly mechanism is very finely made and damage to it can be permananet.I smacked mine with a heavy metal studio light and obliterated the the keys plus the "enter" key that I placed back and worked but in the end I got a new one.Check out the damage in this very short intro for this video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/eInak2xrapyep5I at the 0:019 mark.As a result I'm happy to tell you that the rest of the keyboard works perfectly,there is no flex to it and there's not even a scratch of the chassis.So good build,good keyboard but pricey....At least it seems we are getting ours money's worth with this product.Cheers buddy

I've had this keyboard for about 3-4 months now and still love it. Haven't really used any of the macro G1-4 keys yet, but I'll get to it. I'm a big MMO player and I love how it does kind of feel like a laptop keyboard. The volume wheel is amazing too and would be hard to go back to regular buttons. It truly doesn't get old turning up or down the volume lol. As far as dust, I use the cover it came with as a dust protector after every use of the keyboard (especially having 2 cats around). You can see it at 0:07 if you pause the video. This is my first corsair product and first gaming keyboard purchase and would totally recommend. This keyboard just feels great and iCUE is pretty cool too.

Been thinking the same, I just received mine, will certainly used the cover supplied as dust protector after each use.

Nope, I have the Apple keyboards that are from 2016-17 and working just fine. Nothing beats metal built quality. Also we know when to accept issues like with the MacBook butterfly ones where they did have issues. Unlike fanatics like you that just throw shade. We are ok and learn to get better.

@@freshguy601 to be honest, i have a keyboard that is working since ~2000. This keyboard has the old ps2-connector. And i am not talking about playstation. How ever, nower days products mostly build to Die on intent after a couple of years to make people buy new stuff. Back in the days companies didnt thought like this. I mean i even have a bread cutting Maschine from.. I think 1989...😅 I dont use it anymore... But it's working 😁
