Thx for the quick review of games. I bought an LG 34UM95 with 3440x1440, and the immersion is just amazing, except for the games which do not support ultrawide. Also, playing on native res in heavy titles requires more than 970, so I'm getting a second one soon. :)

Know some games back in the day have the options to zoom out and in ,from 3rd view to 1st, or a little bit out, you yiu have better side visions. Games like old star wars battle front 2, or racing games. This way I don't feels like forced to buy a wide monitor, because I want a 4k

just want to say you are the real MVP for these sample videos of yours mate!! Im planning on using an AOC 21:9 for my main monitor, and my old16:9 AOC for support screen, like Skype, web surf, maps and guide. How do you feel about that set up ? Thank you.

Thanks for nice feedback! It means lot to me. :) I personally use setup like you described, 21:9 screen with 16:9 screen as well for even better multitasking. It's nice setup. I recommend it. :)

ThogeTG Well, turn out the AOC i got has an input lag issue, which mean bad tracking. I have returned it to get a new one, an ASUS one, which turn out to be exactly like yours. LOL! I guess if you can game good in that, hope this is the one for me.

Le Nguyen If you still havent changed I really recommend the LG 29UB56 I love the screen no ghosting a really good stand with height and rotation and surprisingly good speakers 2x7W sounds better than any laptop I have heard.

I have alteady bought LG 25UM65, but I'm going to use it when I buy a new PC, and I don't know if the HDMI cable which comes with monitor will be enough or do I have to invest in DisplayPort 1.2? I use displayport with this monitor because my second monitor is connected with HDMI cable. I used HDMI earlier so you are going to be fine with HDMI cable. Thanks for nice feedback! :)

How did you get Mirror's Edge to work properly? I put it in the 2560x1080 resolution and the menus become all low-res and I get black bars on the sides. I tried flawless widescreen, and it still didn't work.

Hey, I bought a new Monitor, the aoc q2963pm. Also ordered 2 MSI N760Gtx Twin frozr oc 2gbddr5 to work in SLI Mode. Is it enough?For games like BF4 to run ultra? My last setup was 1 Msi N760Gtx Twin frozr oc 2gbddr5 and it runs in ULTRA settings with 1920x1080 monitor 27 inch.

Two GTX 760's equal to one GTX 780 Ti in gaming performance, so you should even be able to play in 4K at low/medium settings in playable framerates.

I would say go for the 29" ultrawide monitor, because you can see more but it still depends on what you want more. 29" for more horizontal space, 27" for just a bigger 16:9 screen www.displaywars.com/27-inch-16x9-vs-29-inch-21x9

Resident Evil 5 Crashes when I put it to 2560x1080 (with and without flawless widescreen on) Anyone know how to fix it? It always happens when a cutscene starts.

Even if it's almost a year to late. Here is an answer: Flawless widescreen for Resident Evil 5 only works with DirectX 11. Otherwise it will crash on cutscenes. If you own the Steam Version of it - do a right click on the RE5 entry in your steam list - prefs -> BETAS Tab.. now put in the following code G4WLOriginalVersion .. a new option should be available for RE5 Beta. It should let you install and play the Games for Windows Live Version of RE5.. which also includes the DX11 Version. There is also a guide for that in the Steam-Community Section of RE5. That did the trick for me.

There's a proper 21:9 fix for Max Payne 1 and 2. It's a shame you had to play them in 4:3 stretched to 16:9.

New Vegas should support the resolution without any fixing. If the resolution is not showing in the game options I think you should try to set it manually in the game text files

Not any delays or anything. This monitor has 5ms response time. It's good for ips panel, good enough for every kind of gaming. :)

Not sure, I don't own all of those games. I'll see what I can do. What I can say is that Arma 2/3 should support ultrawide because DayZ supports it (DayZ SA uses arma 2 engine, and it's working well with ultrawide). :)
