2:01 i think it is a bugs in hyper OS. It works well during Miui since you can differentiate between those two resolution where 720p will be showing larger logo when compared to default.

1:56 in my xiaomi phone genshin specifically, it seems like the default resolution is lower than the 720p. and 720p is more taxing to run compared to default. while other games default resolution is higher than 720p.

the render resolution is capped at 720p on the game space as it is using the global rom. Those commenting that there is a way to boost it are using china rom. Im using the k60 pro that uses hyperos china rom that can render my genshin at up to 864p. The new k70 and k70 pro can do up to 1200p and 1500p respectively.

@@NasiLemakTech Autocorrect is great! That game is great for being hard on the device, but at the same time its so unoptimized you can't draw any conclusions really. And BTW a great way to compare devices is to compare the battery temp at throttling point witch is both important for the battery health and also representative of the real internal temperature and the cooing capabilities of the device.

Even with all the 8 gen 3's power it still can't go straight 60 fps on Genshin it will always avg only 40+ to 50+ fps on 30 mins gameplay I'm starting to think that the phone isn't the problem it's the game optimization instead.

The fact that Xiaomi 14 is hotter than S24 Exynos with similar performance is disappointing. In general the performance of 8 gen3 in games is disappointing since there doesnt seem to be as huge differences as we see in benchmarks compared to 8gen2, and i dont think its because of game optimization. Maybe the battery consumption is better while gaming with 8gen3 compared to 8 gen2. Thanks for the tests.

There are many multiple factors that I can't confirm - like the resolution since Xiaomi 14 is indeed higher in resolution compared to the S24. But yeah the end result is as shown in the two videos. I honestly think in terms of gaming, the 8 Gen 2 could potentially be better in the long run because it doesn't get as hot when we try to push it

That's not true actually if the phone have lower resolution then the game will limit itself to that resolution​ however if the game supports higher resolution but the phone cannot give out that high resolution then it's the phone thats not able to give it@@wuvyyyyy
