The HD560S gets you pretty damn close to detail and sound stage, the HD800S is like probably 10% better with imaging over the HD560S, I had them with the Magnius/Modius combo for my PS5, they’re solid for sure but the money is a lot. Plus the HDV 820 is over 1k as well..

Being amazing for gaming doesn't mean I will drop $1600 for it. The Sennheiser HD 560S also offer a lot of detail and soundstage and are only $180.

Soundstage is fine on these but detail is definitely not their strong suit.

This is weird because Sennheiser did have great gaming headsets but they than sold that division off. Now telling us to just go buy $1600 headphones. Yikes
