Hey everyone! We know people have been asking for a part 2 to our relaxing JRPG music compilation for awhile now so we finally followed up on it. For anyone that's new to the channel and just discovering us through this video, our main content is video essays and retrospectives over JRPGS and retro games as a whole so if that interests you feel free to check our other videos out. We try to cover pretty unique topics that haven't really been covered a whole lot before along with the occasional list video. A lot of the games we talk about are included in this music compilation, and actually our next video that will be out in a week or so is a 1.5-2 hour retrospective over Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon which has numerous songs featured here. The Energy Breaker and Legaia 2 tracks are great, as well as the Arc the Lad tracks. Got me wondering if an Arc 1/2 retrospective is in the pipeline somewhere... As for additions to a potential third OST compilation, you guys should check out Panzer Dragoon Saga, especially the track "Premonition of Battle." Another criminally underrated game and OST. Keep up the great work!

I 100% agree w/ you on Guardian's Crusade OST being criminally slept on. I have fond memories of that game, and I still get the songs stuck in my head today. That cave theme slaps.

wow I thought the initial BOF3 song was secret of the forest from Chrono Trigger for a second. Great choices of some unusual and lesser known tracks. One of the most unique playlists I've come across and its stimulated my interest in a lot of games. Albert Odyssey's theme is great, sounds like a mix of Lunar, Skies of Arcadia and Ys. Damn I want to learn that Ogre Battle 64 theme on piano

Wise choice. One of the all time greats! The soundtrack is also very good and stands out even in the high standard of the FF series. Sadly none of the FF6 music is in this video, though the selection is also top tier, and many I have never heard before.

I never heard of Guardian's Crusade until a few years ago. This track "Cave of Fear" when I first listened sent such a soothing nostalgic feeling over me. Probably one of my favorite tracks from a game I have never played.

@StewNWT probably the post ratio, how the channel went from lists and retrospectives and lengthy discussions to 12 minute critiques and thoughts (cell shaded video etc). No more longform vids. Views fallen off a cliff. Quality and effort seem to have fallen off a cliff as well.
