Well, Yeah... Sonic's water levels played a huge part on why people dislike that kind of level... but its not just those... pretty much all water levels one the 8 and 16 bits consoles were unrelentlessly hard.. each game having its own twist.. Sonic with the whole drowning thing... Mario being essentially defenseless unless you got in the level as fire mario, Megaman with a combination made in hell: heightened jump + low ceiling with spikes and... probably the most infamous water level of gaming history... the Dam level on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES.. that level was pure hell.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is so much better than Wii, I have no idea how that is still an argument My ranking from worst to best would be: Super Mario Kart Mario Kart Super Circuit Mario Kart 64 Mario Kart Wii Mario Kart 7 Mario Kart Double Dash Mario Kart DS Mario Kart 8 / Deluxe Also, while Labyrinth Zone is terrible, I see more people talk about the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. I personally don’t think that it’s that bad, the worst part is that there’s a mechanic where you have to use iron boots to sink into the water during certain parts. The problem is that you have to go into the pause menu every time you need to use them, which gets annoying very quickly That was fixed in the 3DS remake, where you just push a button to instantly switch, which is so much better Also, Sweet Sweet Canyon reminds me of Wreck it Ralph

I’ve never played Ocarina of Time, so I don’t really have much to say on that front. And yes, the beginning of the track specifically is very reminiscent of Sugar Rush with the candy-themed audience seating.

@@GamingMagic13 Yeah, I would recommend Ocarina of Time The 3DS remake, the N64 version has aged well, but with the 3DS one existing, it’s hard to go back
