I personally don't like the techno music of KH. I always liked the orchestral and original songs, BUT 0.2's intro is one of my favorite intros. I think they nailed the song remix. At least to me.

About to be 33 myself and I remember how monumental this game was to my development as a kid. To this day I replay the games on every console then come out on and I hope they never stop remaking them. Even if the series finishes I want to be playing this game no matter how old I get.

I was like 10 when the OG dropped and loved the first and second one. Now I’m 30 and my kids play them with the new ones lol. 3 came out too late for me to play and to enjoy, which I’m pissed about since I looked forward to it after watching the secret ending for 2 on youtube with my friends lol… oh well but at least my children enjoyed it. Just like I hope my grandkids will enjoy GTA7 and Fallout 5 and Skyrim 2!

If you gave me a game with the most incredible gameplay but a very cryptic and confusing story I will hate it. Not to say I hate any of the Kingdom Hearts games. Plus it only had a good story because it was the only KH game that was actually written by Nomura alone.

Sanctuary is probably my favorite song in the whole Kingdom Hearts series especially the ending version. My first Kingdom Hearts game was 358/2 days. I had no idea what I got myself into other than knowing about the interactions with characters from the Disney cartoons and movies. I thought this game would end on a happy ending like most Disney romance movies, but I was completely wrong. Throughout the game, I was in Roxas' shoes. I simply went through the motions, but when the actual story came along, I was just as confused as Roxas was. When I finally got into the whole Kingdom Hearts franchise, everything finally made sense! Roxas to me is a character that hits close to home with me especially with his return in Kingdom Hearts III as it excited me. It was a long awaited reunion that I needed.

Trust me, get the HD re-releases on PS4 (Or on PC now too!) there's a few quality of life improvements they back ported to the older games that really make a difference (the entire camera in KH1 in particular)

When I was a kid I was gifted this game for my birthday from my grandmother who also loved to play games. At the time I saw Micky and Goofy on the cover and dismissed the game for being too childish for me and so it sat on a shelf collecting dust for about a year before I got bored enough to play it. One late summer night when I couldn't sleep I put the disc in my PS2 and this intro began to play and it blew my mind at the time, it wasn't anything like I expected. My grandmother always knew what I would enjoy even before I did, over the years I learned never to doubt her again lol

ive never played kh 1,2 and 3 and a bunch of others but I have played(in order): bbs chain of memories on the ps2 358/2 days and re coded they release games on different consoles all the time so I didnt really get to have the full experience (didnt help that I was a kid and that I relied on holidays to get games). man bbs was my fave though, i think it was called mirage arena or something(?) played a bunch of multiplayer when i was in grade school.

Sigh... I'm not gonna say that Simple & Clean is a bad Song, because it's really good, but Holy God, is it overplayed. How many times is it used? No fewer than 6 times (I, Chain of Memories, Birth by Sleep, Re:Coded, Dream Drop Distance, and Fragmentary Passage (even if Dream Drop Distance and Fragmentary Passage use Variations of Simple & Clean (Orchestral Instrumental and a Remix of what's already a Remix respectively) I'd still argue that they're Variations of that Highly Overplayed Song). I don't remember if Melody of Memory used it or not, but I'll likely find out soon enough). Meanwhile, how often is Sanctuary ever used? 2 (II and 358/2 Days). That's pitiful. Oh, and while I'm at it, whether or not this may come off as a Hot Take, in my Opinion, Sanctuary was way better than Simple & Clean. If you guys disagree, that's okay. I'm just sick and tired of hearing Simple & Clean getting used over and over again. Either give Sanctuary another shot at being an Opening, or better yet, how about making Original Songs for your Spinoff Titles, Square!
