No, I just super lucky. The chances are always extremely low on getting legendaries, but grand chests and clan chests seem to be my thing if I want more legendaries. I got my first The Log from a 7-win grand chest as well. I also got a lumberjack from a different 7-win chest. Only 7-win chests in regular grand challenges give me lengendaries. And apparently it works for special grand challenges as well, other than the fact that the legendary is guaranteed at 12, not simply a slight chance.
