This has opened my eyes! So far my strategy was to build on the right side and make 2-3 rigs (right, left, middle) so I don't have to upgrade to t3 pipes, which led to tons of hassle, roughly the same pipe costs, slower oil delivery, difficult gas management, spillage issues, early game 1000$ loans. I average 30k on plots 29-35, which is a far cry from the 60+k shown here. You won't probably see this, but thank you! I loved the game 5 years ago, and I just got back into it. Also I thought plots below 40 aren't worth using gas in to the extent shown here.

At 48:35 why is there a gold nugget in the bottom left corner? ( I havent played the game yet) Edit: started the 2nd episode and I seen the nugget in the museum collection thing :)

It's treasures, they are revealed by default (cause character) or have to be uncovered by scanners, random drilling, or moles happen to run into one ( only collectable by moles)

Because 1: The price was decreasing on Right Inc and by the time he was selling the oil the price was low. And 2: He had a minimum $0.92 deal with Left Inc.
