Gammas getting a massive buff followed by Beast getting a big nerf through it's Kick not having a knockback effect anymore have shifted the positions of these 3 characters from the same movie!
Only in Xenoverse 2 would the Gammas be STRONGER than Orange Piccolo & Beast Gohan!

With gamma 1, ( on the ground only ) it’s a full triangle combo. After the last triangle input, press it again but in the form of a hard Stamina break , and their gonna bounce back into your hand

Good to see people still out here thinking super armor negates damage... It doesn't, but I have a build that works for it, that probably would survive that by moving out the way as it's hitting. The key isn't to limit burst. It's to use poses and super souls on a namekian built just right. You gotta use that cell super soul for giant namekians that slows you down or something that does about the same, potential unleashed, do or die, burst charge, the pose that makes you have no knock back from being hit and boom, health tank. I use it with dodon Ray or instant transmission because both can at times give you a chance to step back and away. Instant transmission is better tho, since you can use it to dodge a grab easier and that's all you'd be weak to with this build. Don't use Stam armor because it can be countered, just play well with this and you'll beat 90 percent of builds. For ultimates I basically recommend going fir blast and using emp death beam and whats that move Fu uses that you have to use twice, hits with a boom as they fly away? Use it to open a guy up for a Stam break and then use your emp death beam off a knockback, and a quick burst charge hit. 7 bars of ki recommended. For this build you could use hits evasive, or you could use super explosive wave really. Another option for instant transmission slot is any good counter move. Just make sure you keep hitting do or die to keep your poses up. You shouldn't take even as much damage as you normally do, but you can interrupt anything and you regenerate so make sure you have a max HP namekian for this

Health for me, the more stamina you have the longer it takes for it to come back when you’re broken so I would much rather be able to tank more hits when i have no stamina and be able to vanish when i do

Gamma 1 is absurd for the start of a match and has some pretty solid damage output in general, Gamma 2’s super soul is what REALLY makes him absurd. The buffs are good but hard to get off apart from the grab, Gamma Blaster (or whatever the super is called) is great for catching timid players, and Heroic Counter is a decent counter. Beast Gohan does solid damage but becomes even more of a damage demon if you can pull off his super soul, his grab can be comboed into and can start combos, his basic attacks are pretty simple and effective, Demon Ray is a pretty decent combo extender, Demon Flurry is crazy damage that can pressure your opponent to burn stamina, Demon Flash Strike can steal stamina and does great damage (sad the counter version is legitimately broken), Special Beast Cannon can pretty much be a one shot when low heath and the kick version is an attack grab (don’t know the actual term so I’m using a Soul Calibur term). I’d definitely rather play Beast Gohan over the Gammas. All really fun characters though

@@SoapyBowlaccording to Piccolo, they do. They are at least on par with them, but through the movie, they learn to adapt and get stronger from it. Though, you can make the argument that Piccolo hasn’t seen Goku and Vegeta in a while, but in the anime/movie continuity, the last time Piccolo has seen Goku and Vegeta was in the Broly movie. He most likely hasn’t seen the two before they went to Beerus’ Planet, so he wouldn’t know how strong they have potentially gotten, but we can’t either as an audience.

Gohan Beast’s counter, Demon Flash Strike, had been nerfed SIGNIFICANTLY. They basically made it VERY unsafe to use the counter, as immediately after being hit by the kick, the opponent can just get a free combo off of you if they mash the attack button. Or, better yet, they can get a free stamina break. Yeah, they made a COUNTER NEGATIVE on hit. It’s practically unusable outside of its second input if you tap the button again.
