That's how they played in the early 90s. You sold tracks with every new synthesizer you could get on the market. The tracks were worthless to the DJs after 3 listens. So far that is the case. If you want to make music, which is very good, you have to learn music. Your own rhythm patterns, your own melody is key. Midi is very good for filling tracks.
