Absolutely love this clipper 😍 and can’t wait until I get it myself when it drops. It’ll go great with my favorite trimmer saber with the precision blade 😮💨 I did like the original saber but wasn’t a big fan of the size and weight so this size is perfect. Right now my favorite clipper is the instinct and I have a feeling this will be just as good if not better

I liked your old reviews of your new products when you just focused on what your brand offers instead of shade at other brands. Brushless motors in general are quiet. The pin drive (cam follower), shaft, spring design, and blade combinations determine how loud the clipper will be based on my experience changing blades and pin drives. Remove the blade and pin drive and brushless motors are basically quiet. I will wait to test this product out. Sounds like it is a good product.

What is so different about it? The only thing that makes this clipper different is the echo blade.
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO2 ай бұрын
The Super Torque Brushless motor is the biggest difference. This motor has more torque than the Instinct Clipper. Meaning it can cut through bulk like butter. No other brushless motor can handle bulk like this one. We made the body smaller like the Instinct so its the size of a trimmer. We add finger grooves in the back, a magnetic drop top for easy cleaning, USB-C charging, Lightweight all metal aluminum housing, tight guards...and the list goes on.

Not quite. The GAMMA+ Shorty will have a plastic housing with some bright colors. A little different than most of our Gamma Clippers. Same size and motor and blade on the shorty clipper.

I’ve talked to a couple of people who have the clipper already. I’ve heard about some snagging issues. Possibly because of the shallow tooth blade that is on there. Do you think the clipper would be better off with the style craft deep tooth blade
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO2 ай бұрын
They just need to adjust the blade properly. There is no issue when you adjust the blade.
@Mike-hy8cs2 ай бұрын
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO I mean it should cut as intended without adjusting the blade though. Some people dont like zero gapping their clippers.
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO2 ай бұрын
The reality is, when tools are shipped, unfortunately the blade does get loose sometimes. Which means you need to manually adjust it. We do try to set the clippers and trimmers to hit out of the box but occasionally you need to adjust them yourselves. Even just 1-2mm off will mean hair could snag.

Are the metal instincts still an overall better clipper? Not sure which one I want to pickup. Would love the help🙏🏻
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO2 ай бұрын
Hello. Thank you for your question. The Instinct Metal Clipper has the vector motor tech which is different than the Saber EON brushless motor. The Vector motor has Intuitive torque control meaning when the clipper feels resistance, its going to automatically speed up the motor to keep a consistent motor speed to cut through the thicker hair. The Vector motor runs at 11,500 RPMs so its a bit louder than the Saber. The Instinct is 69 decibels and the Saber is 61 decibels. The Saber will have a little less vibration as well. So it all depends on your preferences. If you want a quieter clipper, the Saber is the one. They have similar shape and run times. The Blade is proabably the biggest difference. The Echo blade on the Saber has longer grooves than our Faper blade which crunches louder. The Saber also has USB-C charging and the Instinct has Micro-USB.
@247clashofclans2 ай бұрын
@@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPROI work in a loud shop so I’m not too concerned about the noise of the clippers. Which one overall would have better performance for fading and bulk removal. Just want to know what StyleCraft considers their most top of the line best clipper?
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO2 ай бұрын
Its a toss up really. It comes down to the motor. The Instinct Vector motor tech is the best in the world. Nothing compares and the Torque/power from the Instinct is incredible. But the saber torque/power is just as good. The Brushless motor will stay at a consistent speed to plow through bulk. And the lower RPMs at 7,200 allow for a blurry fade and a little more forgiveness when blending. The Instinct is so fast at 11,500 its not as forgiving. If you value USB-C charging and blurry blends the saber is for you. If you're ok with Micro-USB charging and little more power and vibration in your hand, the instinct is the one.
@michaelrmpn18312 ай бұрын
Fade or faper blade??

Neither, its an echo blade. Its similar to the faper but it has longer grooves creating a louder crunch.

Don’t be fooled I almost did the same and compared video cutsbycoast channel and it sounds different go check for yourself if you don’t believe me. Stylecraft does use the same body yes but internals are different for example look at both run and charging time you’ll see the difference. On top of that MRD it’s not EON brushless motor and don’t have that echo crunchy blade so..
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO2 ай бұрын
We completely upgraded the entire clipper. Starting with the motor. The EON brushless motor is upgraded to a Super Torque brushless motor. It has the same torque/power as the Instinct Clipper. The MRD version has a regular brushless motor. We upgraded the blade with our Echo blade and shallow 2.0 cutter. We upgraded the battery to handle the upgraded super torque motor. We included our new Tight guards. We also provide top notch customer service, education and investment into the barber industry.

I agree. For the most part they are nice. But i just sent back a set of rebel clippers because the led didn't work and it never fully charged. Had it literally 5 weeks and only used them once. I still had to pay around 25 dollars just to send them back to get fixed. Plus the trimmers was missing the red cover to make then a skeleton set like on the package. I emailed them and they sent me a black one. Not trying to slam style craft because i have the instincts and the saber trimmer. They work great. Just don't think i should have to pay extra to get what i thought i already bought. Maybe it's something you should look deeper into. I want the new saber clippers. But I'm scared if i get them and there is a defect I'll end up paying more money. I don't mind paying for quality but i don't want to pay for something i didn't do it had any control over.

He just said if you zero gap the blade, they cut like butter. Sometimes the blade needs an adjustment. Not all blades will hit right out of the box. Adjust your blade and it will cut smoothly.

@@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO what about people who dont know how to zero gap or dont like to zero gap their clipper, plus any clipper should be able to take down bulk fresh out the box without adjusting the blade especially for $300
@GAMMASTYLECRAFTPRO2 ай бұрын
The reality is, when tools are shipped, the boxes are thrown around and the blades can shift. We try to set all our blades to hit out of the box. But even 1-2mm of a shift will cause your blade to snag. Zero gapping is very easy and a skill every barber should have. You never know when you might need to adjust your blades. Especially if you travel. Blades come loose all the time.
