Pinning is more precise! Pinning on a quilt relaxes me & gets me into a quilting mode

I have the red snappers and it sure save a lot of time loading a quilt, not to mention they are easy on my hands because I have arthritis. They were worth the money for me. Have a blessed day.

I’m a new long arm quilter (I’m still working on my first quilt on my new long arm!) and when I pinned my quilt top, my batting got bunched up when I advanced the quilt to the next section. How do you prevent that?

I bast the batting on the top with the longarm about 1 inch stitch I am so sorry. I just saw this message you probably already finished the quilt. For the next quilt just bast the top and then when you advance the quilt baste the sides with the quilt top.

I pin my tops and backs to the leaders too. My quilts anyways stay nice square.
