I am a Non-science background graduate, with the gamsat is the best approach still starting with the "gold standard" type of books and then look for tutoring? Thanks

No way. Don't reccomend Gold Standard... especially for non-science students, it is written by someone who did the MCAT what can you expect. It is okay but doesn't take you into the analytical side of the GAMSAT. If you want a list of topics to study we share our curriculum openly here: www.frasersgamsat.com.au/journey-to-the-gamsat-checklist/ I also tutor and make the resources for frasersgamsat.com.au so I am naturally a bit biased. Overall for Non-Science students it is fundamentally up hill, lots of work to do, we build our comprehensive package to support students like yourself. I understand hwoever it is a big investment and not everyone goes that route, In which case I would sit the coming one as a trial and improve based on the book from the link above, ticking off topics etc. But be wary with tutors, it will feel good doing the sessions but ultimately students fail to see progress another article I just wrote explains that haha, faqs.frasersgamsat.com.au/frequently-asked-questions/course-details/does-frasers-offer-private-tutoring Sorry to bombard.

The Medical Method Thanks for the reply and no you didn’t bombard I am glad I found someone who was willing to give me a detailed straight answer. Anyone I talked before said buy that book but I wasn’t sure if it was the correct move. I am willing to invest in the most suitable method and aware without the science and since my background is only a social worker it will be a difficult task. I had a medical school interview in the past but it wasn’t GAMSAT and I didn’t get a place but got pretty far in the process just haven’t recreated that moment since.

Hi Tom, I just have a quick question. I am subscribed to your email list, and I always see that the Fraser’s courses are advertised as “free” (eg FREE Masterclass) but then when I read the description, it says that “because it’s useful, it’s not free”. Could you please clarify this for me? Thanks

It is free on a promotional basis, typically we charge $150 per ticket. it is a little accidental because we used the same event description from when it was paid. Hence the discrepancy, sorry!
