간월암, 바닷길을 열고 닫는 바다위의 절 Ganwolam Hermitage, a temple on the sea that opens and closes the sea route

충남 서산시 부석면에 위치한 간월암
고려말에 무학대사가 이곳에서 수행중,
달을 보고 홀연히 도를 깨우쳤다하여 간월암이라 하고
밀물이 들어오면 물위에 떠있는 연꽃과 같다하여
연화대고도 불렸다.
간월암은 밀물과 썰물때 섬과 육지로 변화되는
보기드문 자리에 위치하고 있으며,
특히 주변의 섬들과 어우러진 낙조와 함께 바다위로 달이 떠올랐을때의 경관이 빼어나다.

At the end of the Goryeo Dynasty, Ambassador Muhak was here,
It's called Ganwolam Hermitage because it suddenly awakened the province by looking at the moon
When the tide comes in, it's like a lotus flower floating on the water
It was also called Yeonhwadae.
Ganwolam Rock transforms into islands and land at high tide and low tide
It's located in a rare location,
In particular, the scenery is outstanding when the moon rises above the sea with the sunset harmonized with the surrounding islands.
