Dia de trabalho na Ganadaria JAF, com alguns ajustes a fazer no lote de vacas adquiridas a Santiago Domecq no ano de 2019. Foi feita alguma separação conforme o que o proprietário pretende para o futuro. Ilha Terceira, Açores, Portugal.

Good morning. I like to watch the herd run, as they move like a flock of birds. Very healthy strong cows. The land is so beautiful, and the stone fences are remarkable. Very ancient rock walls, must tell many stories. Near me, we have rock walls too, but our history is only perhaps 200 years old. But still tell the history. We are under 3 feet of snow and -27C today. I enjoy your channel. 🇨🇦

Thank you very much for your kind comment. We were happy that you like our videos. The stones are made of volcanic rock, everything here was once spat out by the volcano. Around the whole island, almost all pastures in the fields are divided by these stone walls....my god, -27C next your door ? .. Belas vacas, muito bem tratadas até mesmo as mães. Pq geralmente ,elas ficam magras,feias depois do parto. Os bezerrinhos são umas gracinhas; tão novos e já disparam pelas pastagens juntinho com os adultos ķkkk. Obrigada, por nos proporcionar essas belas viagens num lugar tão distante e tão lindo. Bjos. Thank You for putting the drop down in english. I looked up Terceira Island, Portugal on KZbin n your island is absolutely beautiful. I would love to visit it sometime but will probably never get around to it. You are very fortunate to live in a beautiful place. Have you ever sold any of your cattle to people in the United States?

Congratulations for 400k Fernando. And why are you guys divide these cows in different different enclosures. If you can make whole video from birth to when they grow old and used in bull running.

Thank you very much, Mr. SJ, for your kindness. Answering your question, when you see a separation in several enclosures, it means that they are trying to separate some animals from the others, to then be placed in different pastures, according to age, or if they are female or male, or because they need to be treated differently , according to the future needs that the owner has in mind. This is because these animals are used for different events, depending on their characteristics. As you say, I could make videos from birth, until the day they go to events, but it is very difficult to do that, because this is not my main job. I work in the accounting of the City Council and I only manage to shoot this in my spare time, at the weekend. We have some videos here with small calves to be vaccinated and vitaminized, that's all. As for events on the streets, you can watch on another channel called Gabriela Cultura & Tradições. The cattle are used for bullfights and then return to the pastures. These are very old traditions here on Terceira Island. The text below says that the bulls are reserved for the festivities in June, called Sanjoaninas. Thank you. Best regards to all family.
