I remember seeing this for rent at the video store as a kid. Never rented it though since it looked weird. Ended up going with My Neighbor Totoro instead. Also never knew Penn Jillett was doing voice acting back in the 80s. Loves seeing him and Teller in Vegas

saw it as a kid with my dad, beautiful film its a shame its so unknown and will never get a squil or anything like it ever again, i wish the film maker had been able to make more of these films.

Just watched the english dub with a friend of mine, its absolutely surreal. I get a LOT of vibes like the original Heavy Metal as it has that same sort of artwork feel to it.

remember seeing this on the big screen. loved it from the animation to the story. i even remember drawing pictures of the characters on how much it haunted me (in a good way). it's truly a masterpiece.

I finally got the original French version on dvd from eBay, it’s the South Korean version but has French language and English subtitles.. I believe it was a joint production that was at least partially animated in South Korea. So pleased to have it as it’s getting so rare 👍
