It was also belived that Gandhi could have stopped Bhagat singh's capital punishment if he insisted but we know bhagat's ideology didnt go in line with satyagraha. Anyhow Bhagat singh was very crucial initiator for Congress to declear Purna swaraj in 1930 instead of being moderate.

it was told in a documentry by britishers that gandhi never tried to save bhagat singh & raj guru , even britishers were ready to pardon them but gandhhiiii never struggled to ask even once ...

Gandhiji was not in a position to ask for their release. Meaning , britishers were above Gandhiji by law. And gandhiji was in a state that either he could have "asked " to save the three heroes , and risk the lives of the thousands of prisoners in the prison at the time of civil disobedience. So he couldn't ask for their release too, as he already knew he was not in that position. And talking about the british documentary, those firangis have always played by Divide and Rule funda...right??!

It is not so easy to believe that Gandhi could not stop the british from hanging Bhagat Singh and others. He was probably the most powerful Indian at the time. The fact is somehow indigestible. A man who could convince the british to give up salt tax that funded 45% of British revenue, was not successful in carrying this out? This area of study is left in grey and it's high time that we should be told the truth.

Actually Gandhi ji proposed a term that britisher released all the political prisoners and Irwin agreed on that but when people talked about Bhagat Singh's release, irwin said that he is not a political prisoners but a criminal prisoners so he will not be released.
