Hi bro... Only last week we both visited this awesome gandikota ...After corona days...It was so deserted and crying for attention... But nature's beauty is in full abandunce..In fact it was so quiet and peaceful without much human interference...We Indians should travel to all the nearby tourist spots and encourage our local tourisum first...It is a overnight stay ...So interested people can plan a weekend ,which will be very relaxing to the whole family...The approach roads are well laid now...So car lovers can easily enjoy this trip... I enjoyed your video which was full of graphics roads n name tags...Which made the video very interesting...Make more videos of this type n encourage people to explore our nation first.

We have direct bus from Chennai to jamalmadugu daily @9:15 pm from madhavaram bus stand and from jammalmadugu it will take 30 mins to Gandikota @heavan explorer you haven long distance route ,easier route was CHENNAI- uthkota -tirupati-kadapa-proddatur-Gandikota😊

Amazing! The canyon was shown at the last. My question is 1) excepting the lord of temple& goddess all granite structures cannot be ruined. So they, stand lone & sad testimony to the ruin. ------ why can't the local public install a new " idol" -- ஆகம விதிகளின்படி " பாலாலயம்" செய்து.. பின் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்ய படவில்லை?. அழிவின் சின்னமாக வே இருக்க வேண்டுமா?.

Malathi, you are absolutely right - these temples need to be restored - most important thing would be cordinatiion between ASI (Archealogical Survey of India) and TTD ( Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam) ; TTD got resources to maintain Vaishnava temples. Gandikota provided highest number of commander in cheifs for the Vijaya Nagara empire which ruled whole peninsular India - how tragic the very temples which those warriors visited before every war defending freedom - doesn't have mula virat - kattula kolanu ( shown in the video - which warriors cleaned their swords before entering the fort) reminds their audacious spirit. If you go to Tadipatri ( 50 miles away) - majestic temples ( one for Siva and other for Venkateswara ) - built by commanders of Gandikota - Pemmasani Timma Naidu and Pemmasani Ramalinga Naidu ( Pemmasani clan moved current day Tamilanadu in 16th Century) . Need of the hour is conservative Archealogy - we need to restore forts , temples the way European countires have done in last 200 years - new generation of Indians will feel proud of their ancestry and adventourous spirit of their ancestors who were able to imagine such a fort - Jala durgam and Giri durgam - fortified by water and hill ) - and within the fort they were able to create such magnifient temples - yes we should able to restore those temples with mula virat and other dieties and have Vaishnava priests to perform nitya puja etc.
