Tamil Nadu means Temple Nadu. Even in Thiruvanchaikalam now Vanchikulam (Sundararar Kailayam sendra idam) in Kodungalore Bagavathi, Kerala west Vimanam consists Narasimhar. As per Vimana Sastra of any Temple is - East the presiding deity; South Dakshinamurthy; West Perumal; North Brahma. After Ramanuja period only, these things were changed in Vishnu Temples.
