They are the most loveable creatures. Very funny, acrobatic and approachable. They are your friend before you've been introduced.

so gorgeous.....those owl-like feather markings and owl-y shape, those super-smiley faces, and that chatterbox noise that sounds like their batteries are running down! or, like the wind-up dolphin toy that came with my "Malibu Barbie" :). Hope the flock is still visiting you these days!

I rescued one of these off the road about a year ago. She seemed to have flown into a car. I was able to release here a week or 2 later near where I found her :)

I saw one of these in a zoo in Mexico and I thought it was the cutest bird ever! its little feathered mohawk moved flawlessly as it turned it's head around.

I live in Gippsland Victoria and saw one of these parrots this morning. The birds are amazing here, at least 12 different species of parrots, let alone the other beautiful birds.

I can't even start to imagine how much cooler life would be with a parrot species of any type wild outside your house, mind I'd say with cheeky little cockatoo and worse big silver crested cockatoo you'd have to cockatoo safe the outside of your house ,I can imagen they'd do a lot of damage..my macaw can go trough a solid wood branch in half a day and he's free flight trained so a lot more mello than a cockatoo..there neurotic

Seems like domestic parrots are nothing but problems. Amazes me that people willingly bring these animals into their homes.
