I really hope to meet Premier someday, I've always respected how humble and seemingly nice the dude is. I relate to him being a little soft spoken and kinda shy, being behind the tables allowed him to have a new voice and the world is better for it. Rest easy Guru, thanks for the music.

I was fortunate to meet Guru in 1995 at a jazz Festival in Chicago i believe, can't remember but he's one of the most genuine & funniest people i ever met in my life. His spirit was real. Cool guy man

At the 2:40 mark in this is also used in their song with M.O.P called "B.I vs friendship" from the "Moment of truth (98)" album. One of my favorite albums btw. This entire interview Guru is dropping knowledge! This was around 33 years ago! These topics are still talked about! SALUTE TO GANGSTARR 🙌! Rip Guru🙏!

2:40 gangtarr should have sampled this and put it on the song as an intro. Call that jam B.I. Vs. Friendship put some M.O.P on there and Bam you have a banger in my opinion.

If you ever want to turn someone on to G*, just play the record. These old bullshit publicity interviews never did the artists any justice…it’s like showing people pics of your vacation to the Grand Canyon. Hard to earn!
