@@noone-ie4pz he almost got trapped in a slave contract by his ex company (LM entertainment) so he took them to court and after months of literal defamation campaigns by LM where they literally spread the ugliest rumours about him because he wanted out of there (LM is affiliated to CJ btw , which is huge, bigger than the big3 combined). After he won in court he set up KONNECT entertainment (he is the CEO) and KD corporation. So now he is his own boss and works on his own terms :) ofc after he set up konnect He was kind of blacklisted from the industry and couldnt even promote his debut mini album on tv at all, celebrities also stopped mentioning him when he was mentioned a lot before. Its only after many months that he started appearing on tv again little by little but then antis went too far with spreading of rumours that he posted alarming posts on fancafe and took a hiatus from last december to this february, we learned later that he has depression and anxiety. Thats why for us its the happiest thing that he is back promoting again:') he is very talented and charming and really sweet but he was done so wrong by the industry just because he didnt want to be trapped in a slave contract and wanted control of his own destiny so I hope we stay supporting him for a long time. He deserves it.

For exp when Daniel won in Pd 101 in 2017 in his winning interview he mentioned Taewoo who is a long time friend from Busan (now one of his dancers) and in MAMA JAPAN backstage in 2017 he was hanging out with Ingyoo in mnet comeback show some days ago Kyuujin mentioned how they were friends for 8 years they call themselves #TeamDaniel and they often practice in konnect and hang out together and post and cheer each other up on instagram (this is Kyuujin's post from yesterday instagram.com/p/B-L6I9flTh-/?igshid=1wftmgd3ort68 . ) Daniel before he was an idol was a dancer (he has a background of contemporary dancing and bboy also a bit of ballet) and he even worked as a backup dancer himself for other singers like SPICA thats how they must have met. Daniel mentioned in one of his recent interviews (I read it in Soompi) that his dancer friends would drop whatever they are doing and come work with him whenever he asked even though they have other jobs and they are doing well on their own they still prioritize Daniel and thats why he is very grateful to have such friends. They even watched his cb show together and posted many messages how they wish his album is successful, I remember Vata (one of them) announced he is gonna cancel some schedule on ig because Daniel called him to prepare for the cb in LA. Ingyoo just this morning posted a very sweet message about how he met Daniel years ago (you can read it here twitter.com/KangDanielgall/status/1243367112346710017 ) They are very good friends Daniel too cherishes them a lot he gifts them whenever he is endorsing something, like when he gifted them puma shirts and shoes and his dancers show off the gifts on their insta and insta story (like Minho here instagram.com/p/B-CMobABAJ8/?igshid=d5fpbfjkdt2b ) Thats why you can tell they have great chemistry together. And when he set up konnect and had his first public appearance in June 2019 Taewoo was already with him and had a staff badge around his neck so he must have called them early on when he started the company. One of them even had to enlist before this cb but he still posted on insta to support his cb just some days ago. If you watch their relay dance on mnet you will notice their chemistry. Even small things like going up to him for a high five and to do other stuff to make him laugh after the performance is over stuff like that are really heartfluttering to me especially since Daniel had a very hard time until recently so I love how they treat him with such care :')

It’s sad that people (used to) think that he’s overrated cuz he’s so popular in Korea. Actually he gained his popularity by his fancam from the very beginning, all by himself and by his stage presence. He was not from big company nor was noticed by the majority (still some) before his SorrySorry fancam went viral among 20-50 y female generations. It’s like the Korean sisters found out this gem at the beginning, rather than this gem was packaged and mass-promoted by any (big) company. Thank everyone for giving him a check and a chance!
