I remember at the time PSY's song was playing to all kids birthday parties. One was my daughter's! I have to admit it was a fun song but at the time I wasn't curious to find out who the artist was! It still remains a fun song. I found out PSY was S. Korean when I got in the rabbit hole with BTS. The difference was that when I heard BTS's "Blood Sweat and Tears" for the first time my curiosity hit red and immediately I started checking their bio and music. Eight years later I'm still here and I still enjoying it to the max!!😊💜x7

Thank you for doing this!! I've been wondering why some songs which got some virality on tiktok never got that big amount of streams and promotion, and that is because the artists don't have a big label or somebody inside the industry who is pushing it. I'm learning a lot from you Fairline ^^

@@Department_of_Justice the song har oridinally a few thousands streams before he jumped on it - it went "viral" with a delay - the delay coming from Scooter discovering and than promoting which made it viral.

Radio is another platform that tampers with the charts. Many labels make "arrangements" with companies like iheart to get their song pushed. Those songs then get put onto PL's that get pushed to all iheart stations that play that genre. It is more about whether you have made a deal to get your song played than whether your fans are requesting it. The relevancy of radio has beeen dying for years and yet it weights alot towards the hot100 for example. It is not an accurate representation of what people want to hear. I remember when Espresso was at the height of it's fame and radio was playing that song 4-5 times an hour. When songs are pushed like this, it makes it even harder for other songs to get attention. Typically if less known songs do get a stream, it will be during the overheard hours that don't get as many listeners. It's all strategy.

BTS butter and dynamite was vial and also gangnam and the other girl group song nobody but you. because it was discovered naturally, bts promoted their song for the radio before release with trucks they rented themself. they didn´t pay the radio. so it was accepted. it was not scooter or someone else pushing the song forward. and Gangnam was actually known on youtube in all countries because before US knew about it. i know because that was how i got to know it. it wasn´t playing at the radio at that time and i never heard of kpop before this. it was only later after scooter got involved that i started hearing it on radio and litterally everywhere. it was the same with dispacito before justin discovered it it was already popular in the world but after he got involved and made a remix it became viral. because once US pushes a song it goes in radio in many countries. for apt idk if it would have gone viral if Brunos name haven´t been on it.. i doubt it.

You said AD STREAMS SHOULD BE NOT COUNTED. But Jungkook's song have ad streams. I don't follow him nor Bighit/Hybe, I don't follow people who are JK fans so I don't understand why his song suddenly played on Spotify, KZbin and even IG. His song shouldn't be on my algorithm. Other people experienced the same. They don't like to listen to his song yet it keeps popping up like an ad. So yeah, it has ad streams during that time.

Emm if you're listening to one BTS member then the algorithm will recommend you songs from other members, because they are part of a group. I don't know just pure logic.

I blocked the other members since I am not interested in their music. Even in Spotify I set all of the other members' song on 'DON'T PLAY THIS ARTIST' So don't tell me it's pure logic when Scooter himself said and admitted that he successfully set up Spotify etc for Seven.

​@@Rina-gb8kf Honestly, I'm army for almost half a decade but I've never seen a YT BTS ad pop-up before, except recently but it wasn't exactly BTS but just a JK solo song. However, though I also don't like nor listen to his English pop songs, I don't hate him or anything. But clearly you have some hidden grudges somewhere, not that you hate JK, cause I can tell you don't actually hate JK, you just don't like the way he's being treated compared to other members. Cause it's just unfair, while others get pushed, others weren't even promoted and got sabotaged. So I get why you're acting like that.

Scooter Braun is also the one behind Jungkook's song, Seven etc. He posted on his social media that "finally he was able to set up on Spotify and other platforms" I wonder why you have to use Psy's Collab with Scooter and fail to mention Scooter's involvement with Jungkook's album. That album was heavily carried by radio payola. Let's not diss other artists especially when some BTS members are doing the same.

Here we go another lesson for a solo stan. Scooter is NOT involved in Seven's success, he didn't even appear on his documentary. He only let him work with writers and producers he knew (and then they worked with Jimin for Who). And despite that, he didn't got all the support he should got. Jon Bellion, one of the writers got mad because he received so little radio support despite the sucess he was getting and he even got the radio late. And all this is because they refused to pay for playlisting, he even got the cover for TTH so late despite being number 1 for 71 days. All of BTS members are honest, but you solos are so blind to see.

Scooter Braun helped Seven to be successful. Jon Bellion have said that Scooter wanted him to write a song for Justin Bieber and Seven was result of that. Now Scooter had hit song Seven in his hands but clearly Justin didn't want to do the song. My theory is that Justin have already made his decision to end his music career. Scooter had to find another singer for this song who had the same star power than Justin Bieber. I don't think Scooter wanted specially to help Jungkook to be successful but it was more about him wanting to make Seven successful since Scooter regonized that Jon Bellion Had written the song which will make money. Jimin have never worked with Scooter and I don't think Jimin ever wants to. Scooter made an interview where he was shady towards Jimin and Suga. This happened before Jon wrote Who to Jimin. Jimin himself contacted Jon Bellion and then went to USA to work with the lyrics with him. There is only ONE name same on the writing credits of Seven and Who and that is Jon Bellion. Jimin had totally different producers for his song.

You are a blind follower. I'm not his fan but their interviews are all over social media. Bang Si Hyuk even said the success of your fave's album won't be possible without SCOOTER. Scooter collected the songs set up Spotify like what he posted on socmed. Before the release, a radio program director was already promoting the schedule the song will be played on their station. It's actually funny, that even before release it's scheduled to play every two hours. You can't deny that fact since the program director replied to me on X app, eventually deleting his tweets for Seven. So don't tell me your fave doesn't have payola, playlisting and ad streams. Your fave would only rank #88 below if you will put zero on his radio score

Secondly, the success of Seven is mostly because of JK, his debut was one of the most anticipated. If it was pushed by Scooter then the song would have the double of streams and radio, but it didn't. Scooter never talked bad about Jimin and Suga. I'm not defending him but stop spreading misinformation. You all solos are the same.
