you missing a small component, you are right, you do not need the align time if you use the prop module, however the occator has issues performing the MWD-Cloak trick properly if the base-lignup time is not low enough. this can be overcome with a Faction CLoak and a EM-703/4 but very few people do it. i to fit an AB and a MWD because you can;t do the cloak trick with an AB but the AB will let you crash the gate. if you unable to mwd-cloak you will not make it, does not matter how much tank you have.

The 3rd one was stealing Athanor Cores with an alt using loot scripts from Transgress doing structure bashing in misneden. He didn't bother to dock up up after looting two in a row so on the 3rd on he got gangked.

An AB cycle time is 7.5 seconds vs 10 seconds for an MWD. To get the cloak/AB trick to work with a DST, you'll need a better than "Improved Cloaking Device" and probably an implant or two. I haven't tried to get the cloak trick to work with a deadspace AB but I imagine if you put enough money into it, you can get it to work. I wouldn't do that, unless you just want to prove the point. I've tried multiple ways to get the AB to work, but it's just simpler to use an MWD...in hisec your only threat is garbage around the gates that would prevent your cloak. This also happens in nulsec. Fit it like you could end up in either high or null security space, always use a scout. Every single gate you go through, cloak/mwd, they scan your fit with a passive locker so you don't even realize you're being targeted, 2-5 jumps before you hit Uedama or whatever 0.5/0.6 system you're traveling through. In game item: Passive Target I: Uses advanced gravitational and visual targeting to identify threats. Allows target lock without alerting the ship to a possible threat. This is the main reason I suggest using an MWD/Cloak on your DST in hisec: They passive target and scan your fit, simulate it, calculate the firepower needed, conduct a cost analysis based on 100% losses to their side and typical drop rate/cargo load on your side, and formulate the number of Talos', catalysts or other damage ships they need. If they can scan you, they can catch you. Cloak/mwd every jump and at the first sign of gankers (Novus Ordo, Safety, Code and a few others (set them red)) park it. Carry a shuttle with you so you can go do something else while the gankers get bored or get involved in finding another target. Use a scout and all the intel tools available for travel (gank intel, eve gate check, in game map, etc). Take multiple trips as MarkeeDragon says...but when that was mentioned, it was regarding the 2 x Upwell Athanor Cores that Occator pilot had. Those things are only 500m3 volume so if he was using the Occator to move those, he deserved to lose them in light of the fit and likely failure to execute the cloak/mwd trick. You can get both a covops frigate (Helios for example) and T3Cs over 500m3 cargo with rigs and lowslot expanders, so you can move them that way too. In my opinion, just use a Blockade Runner. I agree the Impel is the best of the DSTs. EHP with the below setup is almost 117k with 86/89/90/89 (cold) and 92/96/94/89 (hot) resists. Sig radius 160/960. Ship/fit cost about 250 mil. I'm thinking that the Bustard at 14:06 was a wormholer setting up in a C2. It's what fits with the drop as well as the fit.

especially now with the new update, there is an _overwhelming_ amount of outdated info floating around out there, a lot of which is not at a glance easy to identify as "no good" I decided to come back to eve with the new update and TBH I'm almost regretting it, and very likely won't stick around as much as part of me wants to, but it's like waking up from a coma and having to learn how to walk again, but you've been fitted with tentacles and first have to figure out how to _have_ tentacles _before_ learning how to _walk with tentacles_.. lol

I believe Autopilot warps to 10k. More likely he just jumped, tried to MWD cloak and got caught

The Mastaron is semi afk hauling. Passive fit for autopiloting, but a hardner if you see you get locked up. When autopiloting the inertia realy help, cuse you dont have to use the AB on evry gate.

your incorrect on warp stabs all stabs have 2 stability the 3 differences after price is , penalties /CPU and activation in high-sec on a hauler cpu /activation has more meaning he had a meta not t1 . i will admit flying an Occator or any DST with cargo extenders is dumb but from distance it looks like the person flubbed the mw cloak jump because that's 5 needed to catch . in my mind the greatest fail if the fit has a stab , prop and cloak is lack of a scout or failure to follow intel but carrying 43 bil in one go is a deserved loss .

Have you ever left highsec? You obviously don't understand how to break through LS camps in a DST. You don't seem to know how cloak/warp works. AB is only used for getting back to gate. For cloak/warp you NEED the mwd. When you get caught in a proper camp, all your tank and overheating won't save you.

Guess what genius: uedama has constant fighters decloaking anything that doesn't warp below 3s. It's the most disgusting game mechanic, I don't know why ccp didn't remove it. Let's say your DST can do AB+Cloak so what? Fighters decloak you halfway entering warp and you get instatackled. Wow much outplay, such skill.

a boobook is a smuggling shuttle it cannot be cargo scanned and has a very low sig basically if you see one and know its coming you just smart bomb it its the easiest way to kill them in high-sec .

i run billions in a dst around ls all the time. im suprised im not in this video lol. warp speed is great for out running people that try to chase you in ls/ns. cloak+mwd trick really negates the need for a tank. with max skills, and cargo expanders i can get 70k m3 in a dst. although i spend most of my time in ls, im usually only killed in hisec when i dont cloak+ mwd trick.

Got killed with 4B in my Occator in Tama a while ago, due to overconfidence. They decloak you in no time with fighters.

Cloaky haulers don't need tanks. The cloak is your tank. Ive played since 08 and I have never got ganked in a cloaky.

I have exactly once. Spawned within 2,000m of some space junk on a gate camp so I couldn't cloak and was instalock scrammed.
