గన్నవరం విమానాశ్రమయానికి పెరిగిన డిమాండ్ | Increased Demand For Gannavaram Airport

రాష్ట్రంలో కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి రావటంతో గన్నవరం విమానాశ్రయానికి డిమాండ్ పెరిగింది. ఐదేళ్ల వైకాపా పాలనలో గన్నవరం నుంచి పౌరవిమానయాన సేవలు నిస్తేజంగానే సాగాయి. ఇప్పుడు కొత్త రూట్లకు భారీగా రద్దీ ఉంటోంది. 2019లోనే 12లక్షల మంది రాకపోకలు సాగించారు. ప్రస్తుతం తగినన్ని సర్వీసులు లేక.. ఏటా 10 లక్షల మంది కూడా ప్రయాణం చేయలేకపోతున్నారు

Yes Vijayawada air traffic increased a lot after alliance came to power. By 2026, it will increase to 5crore. So according to that airport development has to be done. New flights has to be started from Vijayawada airport. Vijayawada to San Francisco Vijayawada to Doha Vijayawada to Sydney Vijayawada to Vienna Vijayawada to Amsterdam Vijayawada to Chicago . . . . . . I wish the current govt brings 'point of call' status to Vijayawada for Dubai/Singapore/Gulf. This will allow foreign low cost airlines like flydubai/silk air to start flights to VGA and these airlines provide good connectivity to rest of the world through their hubs (DXB, SIN etc.,). Indian airlines always run flights to bigger cities and passengers are stuck with Air India who is the sole provider of international connections for VGA currently.
