You spoke about gun powder and the weight of the bullet on the ear because of the speed. It’s that same speed that will let the bullet in so fast that it won’t leave a mess at the entry but the pressure as it comes out will explode the exit.

Thank you so much for this analysis, Ssaalongo Ssaava. One question though. Which of the two is supposed to be bigger...the entry wound of a bullet, or the exit wound? I personally have a hard time believing that that image of the right ear is the entry wound, and that the one on the left is the exit. I am very open to being wrong, but the opposite seems to be true. A bullet pushing through the body to exit is supposed to leave a larger mess than that clean image on the left. It doesn't seem plausible that it would exit so cleanly. Please Clarify.

Dean, your explanation is completely off according to the way bullets work and behave while pushing through anything. Normally, the hole where the bullet enters from is very tiny almost un noticeable especially for small rounds in small hand guns like pistols,whereas the point where it comes out from is huge, a total mess of shredded and shattered bones and tissues. This is because the round expands once it enters the body due to abrupt cooling and frictional forces,then disintegrates increasing the surface area and pressure tearing everything in it's way out. The extent of the damage normally depends more on the size of the projectile, it's design,muzzle velocity, angle of entry and the distance at which a round is fired. On the other hand, Molly's head wounds depict a repeated action , several times hitting her with something most likely blunt....which might as well explain the closed or simple fractures she sustained in her arms. Is there anything that was found on the Crime scene that fit a nature that can inflict such kind of damage? Otherwise, I have been following that case for a while now and believe me or not...there were more than two people in that room on that fateful day. The woman knows it all and whatever that happened, she might wish to remain silent about it for reasons best known to herself most especially,in case it involves the children whom I suspect to have intervened to save their mother or, join her in whatever that transpired that day in that room. It's a complicated case where the mother might wish to save her children in case they were involved by keeping silent about the truth. With missing links, without a very good prosecution this case might turn out completely differently!!
