I’m new to knife collecting. I’ve been collecting knives for about a year now. It’s really fun but I’m still learning. It’s hard to pick a favorite knife, so I’ll give you two. For light edc carry, I really like the Kershaw Dividend in M390. My wife got it for me as a birthday present and wow have I been impressed. It’s light, and holds a great edge. For heavier edc carry, I really like the Civivi Praxis. If you haven’t checked out Civivi Knives yet (subset of We) I highly recommend them. I paid $42 and got the Praxis which feels like a $100+ knife. Side note, if I am selected I’d like to send the knife to my little brother. I’m trying to get him into the knife craze like me. Cheers and thanks for the review!

I've been accumulating knives most of my adult life (I'm 61) but, began collecting, in earnest, in 1992. My focus was, and, still is, modern folders, and, fixed blades, but, mostly folders. My very favorite folder, right now, is a 2006 Spyderco Military, in plain edge S30V, with a matte DLC coating. I only re-acquired it last year. In 2006, I was basically swept away in a financial disaster. I had to sell off a great many of my considerable knife collection (numbered around 150 folding knives). That collection had many "one of's" and knives that will no longer be made ever again. The knife I missed the most was that Military. I pined over the loss of that knife for years, until last year. I was looking around at the current market of Military offerings, and, ran across a knife store that had a trade in Millie, same model and year, near mint in box for $135.00. Ironically, this is what I paid for the lost Military back in '06. I jumped on it. It is the exact model I lost in '06, and, let me emphatically state, I will be buried with this knife. It's going nowhere.

Hi Jay, I thoroughly enjoy your review videos. I've bought a dozen or so Ganzo knives in the last couple of months and while I totally agree with you that the FH11 is a step in the right direction for them, I feel like they still have a ways to go yet. I have both the FH11 & FH13 and while I feel the action on both are really good, the problem I have with both of those are the flipper tab having rough edges or burs on them that chew my index finger up. I don't know if it's just mine or if it's a production wide issue. I'm definitely going to take a few minutes with a file and try to correct it though because I do like both knives. Take care and keep the great reviews coming!

Then you could do some simple division (get %) and really compare weight differences to the most popular knives/comparable knives. Cheerio.

I got my first Swiss Army knife from a cousin that let me choose from a bunch he had in a cigar box. I think I was in 6th grade, and I have carried a knife for the last 35 years or so. I wouldn't call myself a collector, being kind of a cheap b@$%@&d, and I don't have any pricey blades. My favorite edc is my Dozier.

Very nice, thanks for sharing the story. The Dozier is a good one to carry. You're in Fubar, thanks for watching.
