Little detail that I realize about them, when Shu Yi randomly speaking Japanese even his closest friends were like 'what the heck is he talking about?' but Shi De always understand him whatever language he speaks. It shows how much Shi De pays attention to Shu Yi to the point he learn his language too. I think that's so sweet and cute, maybe for me personally because I'm a byelingual person (meaning I'm not really good at any langauage 😅) and when my boyfriend can understand me even when I speak mixture of many uncertain language, I feel so loved 😅🤣

Zhou shu yi (one of the character) is half Japanese(his dad is Japanese) and so he uses Japanese sometimes... And Shi de is going to America as his mother is going to marry an American... so to attend the wedding and know about his step father...

@@xctale9642 I think script wise they were trying to cater to the Japanese audience because that is their biggest audience they have for Taiwanese BL’s. I think they were also trying to cater to America little bit too because some of them keept speak English and one of the characters parents is marrying an American 😂
