I really hope someone does an analysis on this fight. Sooo much to unpack. Gaolang in this universe is the best striker in the world, and the choreography and the skill they put into portraying that on screen and in the manga shows in spades. Honestly I have been waiting since Kengan was first made to see this fight fully brought to the screen and it did not disappoint at all. I was hyping from start to finish. Everything was just perfect. God what a fight.

this fight had no clear winner for Agito he was the Fang of Metsudo the one who always evolves and overcomes his opponents the fact that he couldn't surpass Gaolang in strikes was a hit on his pride as a warrior since he was forced to use other martial arts to beat him and for Gaolang he was his majesty's strongest warrior and called the Thai God of war the fact that he couldn't beat Agito even though over 95% of the fight was in his specialty was a loss for him too

I wouldn't say so for Gaolang.He was giving it his all,if Fang wanted to he could have used different style,in fact Fang is much more experienced when dealing with different martial arts,it was Kanoh's choice to start with boxing and then to get outclassed by Gaolang,therefore receiving quite a lot of damage.If he had sticked to,idk,formless or to the style of Ohkubo(changing forms,as it was said Agito had enough time to master it) he would have achieved his victory much sooner.But I am more fan of Gaolang than Kanoh,just because boxing is so beautiful and Hitman style is my favorite strategies

This fight is very controversial but personally I believe if Gaolang didn’t commit to the last punch he could have lasted just a little longer even after fang adapted he got chocked up by the kicking and knees so fang resorted to throwing and caught Gaolang with an unexpected knee while trying to get back up after being thrown yes I understand fang probably would have still won this fight but at the end of the day this fight came down to fight IQ not weight advantage or even reach advantage Gaolang knew he was fighting the Fang himself and remained calm and trusted his boxing and his knowledge you can see how he countered almost everything fang threw at him it took a lot to even scratch Gaolang while on the other hand fang was getting his face beat in left and right Gaolang knew fang is an arrogant cocky fighter and he used that very weakness against him every time the fang over commit to a strike he got punished and every time the fang thought he had the hand he got punished in the end sadly the fang adapted to everything Gaolang had to offer I just wanted to point out how incredibly smart Gaolang was in that fight and how just staying calm can get you a long way in a fight
