I find myself in the same predicament but after this i think i will go with the gaomon since its a little bit less pricy where I'm from, and i think it is a bit heavier than the huion (and in my mind i think it would feel a bit safer than the lighter one but idk)

I got A Gaomon S620 tablet about a month ago. I find that the surface of the pad is too sliperery just like other tablets. It does feel a little uncomfortable doing drawings with it compared to paper. It is hard to control the pen with your hand. I have at least partially fixed this problem. I just got some fine grade emery cloth (or fine sandpaper) and gently scratched the surface up, down, sideways and at a 45 degree angle in both directions. I think that it has helped it to feel more like paper because there is more friction. It is not perfect but to my mind I think that it has improved. The pen nibs are not going to last so long. The nibs don't cost much anyway. The surface also looks much more messy and ugly. It will definately attract more dirt now as well (I will turn it upside down when it is not in use to reduce this problem a little). However, I now have a much higher quality tablet. Considering that you have to pay about £500 or £600 for a reMarkable 2 note taking tablet to get that paper feel I think that it is worth taking the chance that you might brake the tablet to make this improvement. I did not brake my tablet when I scratched the surface gently. You do this at your own risk of course. The Gaomon is so cheap I think that it is worth the risk for the benefits. I think that the extra friction I have got on the surface has doubled or tripled the value of my tablet now. It does seem a little easier to control the pen with the extra friction. If my Gaomon does not last so long now I don't care because it is so cheap. The extra friction I created is certainly not too much. Maybe I need to scratch it with courser emery paper to make the friction a little more. I will leave my Gaomon alone for the time being. I don't want to scratch too deeply or I might brake my Gaomon. I notice that if you want something that has a nice paper feel to it for taking notes then a reMarkable 2 has the best surface for taking notes. I saw that the manufacturers deliberately made the surface have more friction just like paper has (this inspired me to use emery paper on my Gaomon) (however, the softwate for the reMarkable 2 is very poor and they have not improved its weeknesses in 6 months. So, buy a Boox Note Air instead and put a screen protector on it to increase its friction instead if you want a note pad). I would not know where you would get a screen protector that increases friction on the Gaomon S620 so I scratched the surface with fine grade emery paper instead. Best wishes.

A fair analysis. But I would use pan and zoom more than anything else because I need a livestream teaching aid on an infinite canvas. I can't find a touch-centered article / review to save my day. I'm stuck in deep mud and no progress in sight except to order and return. Apparently pen tablets just do not make a decent touch interface - I have a wacom sitting here (CTH 640 I think) with touch switch on-off and when it works at all - it hardly works at all.

First, by time you read this I expect your subs to reach 400K - fantastic! Congrats. Useful “case use” review. I use Wacom medium. Does this unit accept the Wacom pen nibs? Does it, like Wacom, accept weed trimmer type filaments (cut to fit, of course) for pen nibs? Is there a pen sleeve accessory (like Wacom’s). Glove is a thoughtful addition, but never had issues without one. Instructive circle to sphere, and impressive pen holder, Nemanja.

Hey Paul, thank you. I didn't tried to put Wacom nibs to this one. There is no need for that. Also no need for filament too. I have never changed any nib in my life 😊🤷‍♂️ And I'm using pen extensively. Thwre was one version of Wacom Intuos tablet with a paper like surface that was eating the nibs... But I didn't have that one 😊

Thanks for sharing. You only forgot to talk about the tilt option and mention that it is supported on Android phones. I am with you, in the downside of type c's lack. Left handed users will have the usb cable facing down. That's a disadvantage in my opinion. Keep it up

Gaomon sam probao i sjajan je. Taj Huion nisam, pa ne mogu da uporedim. Ali i Huion je odličan kao firma, tako da nećeš pogrešiti koji god da uzmeš.

I'm just getting into compositing and watch Nemanja's videos all the time. And try to duplicate the video lessons using my own photos. I purchased my first tablet over the black Friday sale from amazon and ended up getting a GAMON M10k-2018 for $50. I didn't realize for $20 more I could have purchased the M10K Pro. Is it worth returning the MK10k-2018 and getting the pro?

I was impressed during the unboxing with the quality but am limited to comparing to other products. I'm very excited to try it out. Can't beat the price for a medium size graphic tablet! As you illustrated in the video everything worked great including the pen sensitivity.

They are both good, but if I need to choose, I would choose this one because of the wheel for changing the brush size and the size of the tablet itself. Also the user experience is a bit better on this one . At least for me.

Wacom Intuos je malo preko 10.000. Pogledaj dal ima i Huion kod nas. Ali evo ja sam video na oglasu, ima ova za 12.500. Jeste malo više. Ali se isplati.
