Hi LISA! Thank you for this video. I love the dress you’re wearing for myself. I think it really looks cute on you! I don’t care for the tie belts much like the one that comes with the dress. I bought a dress last summer that had one. I cut off the stringlike belt loops and wore a wide leather belt instead. Maybe that would work for you. You could place the belt wherever is comfortable

Hi Lisa. I have the same problem with many garment with belt loops to high waisted for me. Simple fix (majority of the time) if release the top section of the belt loop from the garment. Then pull it down below where the current end of the belt loop is still attached. Sew it in place. You then will have dropped the loose 2-3 inches. Enjoy!!!

Lisa, if you love that first dress, why don't you just clip the belt loops off and wear the belt at your waist? I don't care for it with the boots. Lisa, I'm running into a problem here and maybe you can help. I'm 5' 8" and I never buy a TALL anything, just regular size. But I'm also 74 and the legs are not what they used to be in my heyday and I'm not comfortable wearing dresses mid thigh. I like a dress above my knee but not mid thigh. If I bought a TALL would I get more length, and how much?

Are "knee length " dresses too short for you? I am 5'3" and buy mini dresses because they end up just above my knees😊

@@midlifemom5829 Knee length is fine, in fact a few inches above is fine. But mini dresses which come to the mid high are too short at this point in my life.

@@NYEmma i guess what im suggesting is , since you are tall and your preference is an at knee or slightly shorter is to look for dresses labeled "knee high" since the ones labeled "mini" are to short for u. Since i am petite, "mini" dresses end up being just above knee length for my height. On various websites dresses are usually categorized as mini, knee length, high-low, midi , or maxi. You can set the website "filter" to the length you prefer and they will sort as such. Also the dress length is usually included in the description which will help u decide if it is the length you prefer .
