Thanks yes it looks like it compares equally, and as you say it's another way to do it. I like seeing the dial just as you do, but the idea was new to me.Again thanks

I remember one manufacturer that recommended setting the gap with engine running and up to temperature. The gap depended on the amount of drag when moving the feeler gauge.

Interesting, how would you actually gap them with the Rocker moving? The temperature I get but while the engine is running? I'm sure there is a trick to actually do it, but I'm not sure it would be my cup of tea to do it that way personally.
