I believe in it however struggle with some issues. My only issues are, Garabandal never really grew, attracting millions of pilgrims every year, unlike Medjugorje. The children were caught faking apparitions. Joey never regained his sight It was said Padre Pio would see the great miracle, he is now a saint in heaven and we have no testimony if he has ever seen the great miracle It was said the Jesuit priest would be exhumed and found to be incorrupt. 15 years later he was dug up found as nothing but bones. Conchita spoke about three more popes then end of an era. If Conchita dies beforehand and she is unable to prophesize 9 days in advanced the great miracle, we need to leave Garabandal alone The great Miracle of Garabandal will be proclaimed 8-9 days in advanced, and the great Miracle of Medjugorje will be announced seven days prior. It is very likely the Miracle at each location is one and the same, a sign that is very beautiful indestructible and remain on earth until the end of time - notice both Medjugorje and Garabandal speak of the same sign. Because there is a time discrepancy, 1-2 days difference is also concerning. I can greatly defend Medjugorje by its fruits, I visited the site on four occasions over a 25 year period and witnessed it's growth and conversions continue to increase. Medjugorje has stood the test of time. I am HOPING someone here, likewise, can do the same, to defend Garabandal in the same manner. Please help the cause and do a better job in its defense Thanks

yes, you are right there have been many promises associated with this place that causes doubt. but I will always contend that so long as Conchita is alive I keep an open mind .

Unlike Medjugorje, the visions stopped after 4 years. The village is fairly remote with little accommodations. The girls were not told to build a large shrine at the site. The children were caught faking apparitions. I"ve read or watched everything on Garabandal, this is the first I've heard of this. Can you substantiate this? From everything I've seen, the Priests that were present during the visions believe them to be authentic and real. Have you seen the video footage? I think its quite impressive. Joey never regained his sight Joey might be a representation of our general blindness to faith in our age, as well as a type of our own coming rebirth and renewal after death, with a new and glorified body much like Christ, something we are told we all will share. As we experience a rebirth through the Warning and then the Miracle, and renew our faith in that new era, Joey may re-emerge as part of the "miracle" with restored site in a new body. That is only a guess of course, but what a stunning miracle that would be. The same goes for the Priest that died. He may be corrupt now, but that does not mean he won't be on the day of the miracle. It was said that he would be incorrupt "on the day of the miracle", but not necessarily for all of time. We do not know if he infact saw the miracle while on earth. He is a heavy weight even among Saints it seems and I believe he spoke of Garabandal for a reason. I think Garabandal lives and dies with this. The great Miracle of Garabandal will be proclaimed 8-9 days in advanced, and the great Miracle of Medjugorje will be announced seven days prior. Eight days for Garabandal I believe. The number eight is significant to Garabandal. The miracle will also occur between the 8th and 16th of a month on the Feast Day of a Martyred Saint associated with the Eucharist. Because there is a time discrepancy, 1-2 days difference is also concerning. IF it is the same miracle, I find it curious that the visionaries at Medjugorje would announce the miracle a day or two after Conchita would make her announcement. I don't understand why this would be of concern other than that oddity that it is a day or so after Conchita's announcement . I don't know the specifics about Medjugorje, but it does seem to take many similarities from Garabandal and other apparitions. This is not to take anything away from Medjugorje. Just an observation. I can greatly defend Medjugorje by its fruits, I visited the site on four occasions over a 25 year period and witnessed it's growth and conversions continue to increase. Medjugorje has stood the test of time. According to the Church, it's still too early to know whether either of these two will stand the test of time. As for miracles, there are miracles associated with Garabandal that are not well publicized. Garabandal does not have the foot traffic that other sites have and in general receives significantly less press. We have an approved Apparition site in the United States near Green Bay Wisconsin. It is not one of the popular sites from a tourism perspective and does not receive the press, but locally there are many miracles, many of which have not been investigated. Garabandal is very similar in that respect. I am HOPING someone here, likewise, can do the same, to defend Garabandal in the same manner. For me it just rings true. The video footage of these girls walking backwards and forwards over rocks and never falling while looking up, the host captured on the tongue of Conchita, the young Priest claiming "miracle, miracle, miracle", and then dying in a state of happiness that night. Finally, St.'s Pio, Pope Paul 6th, and St. Mother Theresa all affirming their belief in Garanbandal is pretty strong in my eyes. Why would they even weigh in on it unless they were convinced of its veracity? I hope this helps. I believe strongly in Garabandal, but like you, if Conchita dies before announcing the miracle, then I feel we would put this one to rest. I don't believe that will happen however.

at 3 minutes, the plaque on the wall indicating the eucharistic miracle mentioned Sunday 18 of july 1962. according the the calendar of 1962, July 18 was on a Wednesday and not Sunday. thats a mistake...

Green Is-In Ltd .. She doesn't like the media attention unlike Medjugorie visionaries. She also has the date of the miracle in her head. THE WARNING COMES FIRST!! SO WE SHALL SEE!! I know that 3 Saints of the Catholic Church believed these apparitions of Garabandal... SAINT FATHER PIO, SAINT POPE JOHN PAUL II AND SAINT TERESA OF CALCUTTA!! If they believed it, I BELIEVE IT TOO!

The most important thing is the messages and there is nothing wrong with the messages. Visionaries tend to fade into the background after the apparitions stop.
