I really like her whole personality about the build of the car that the husband did. my friend had a pristine 66 SS 396 Malibu or Chevelle. he built it from the ground up and I mean it took a year-and-a-half. tragically I lost him in 2010. unfortunately he had a heart murmur. that was not corrected when he was a child. rest in peace James Michael burgo. a quick story he was one of the few younger people to have three jobs at the age of 16. but man I miss my friend so deeply. thank you Shawn for sharing this great video. I wish one day I can meet you

In high school during the early 90's I fell for the 1969 and 1970 Chevelle. I liked how it was different than the Camaro's too. Like pretty much anyone, I really loved and still do, the 1970 LS6 Chevelle - the highpoint of the era before insurance and gas killed them off. Living in SoCal, I've seen so many 64-65 Chevelle's and they have become my all-time favorite 60's era musclecars. Bravo to them and their build!

Wow I love this car ! And for one major reason, I had one ! Lots of fond memories. As a daily driver, I bought a used silver 64 Chevelle 2 door hardtop 6 cyl . stick back in early 1970. Six months later the car was sporting a slightly modified 68 302 Z28 motor, Pontiac Muncie 4 speed and a 66 GTO posi rear end with 3.90 gears. Hooker Headers with full exhaust exiting the rear. Later in 1970, the car was painted 68 Caddy Nottingham (Emerald) Green. Had a green and silver interior, a perfect match ! Great street car for 10 years before I sold it (big mistake, sorry I sold it).

Gorgeous, I'm a big fan of the square body like this and the box nova. Especially the box nova because it's small but you can still fit the big motor with no problem 😊

You bought your car so your wife didnt bug you to drive the Camaro, I bought my 64 so my wife will maybe start wanting to drive a classic with me when I take the 69 out lol didnt give an option either, went auto, 6.0/4l80 though. Love the story!

@@Superchicken798 i have heard that you can go 17x9 or 18x9 on rear with 5 1/2 to 6 inch backspace but still may have to trim wheel lip. i have seen in magazine article 17 x 9 with 6 inch backspace with 275/40/17.
