Can you share where you got the mount that connects the projector to that lighting tripod?

Actually had to make one myself. It doesn't currently exist in all honesty. I used a universal projector mount but had to piece things together to get it to work. Still working on a final prototype for this that will allow the user to mount the projector upside down as they would do from the ceiling. Will update on the channel when I have it.

Lol. I will definitely try. I'd actually love to figure out a way to mount the projector upside down instead of the way it is now on there. I wish I could have someone help me create what I am looking to do there. It still works but I want to take advantage of the extension that can go up to 10 feet if needed and in order to do that it would be best to mount the projector upside down as if it was hanging from the ceiling!!

Always better for quality to use HDMI in my opinion. Not sure on resolution loss but there could be signal loss so if possible I'd suggest a normal HDMI cord hardwired.

Also, I use a garmin r10. Does the launch monitor play any part in the graphics at all? I just bought a high powered pc with a nvidia 4070 card and am not loving the graphics and it’s a little dark.

No it doesn't. Only the software program you are using and the PC Graphics card you are running it on.

While I have not personally tried it, with the features on this projector I do not see why it would not be able to handle it in all honesty.

Hello, question thanks for the video. Great job. I did purchase this projector. I was trying to figure out the wireless. I run my launch monitor off of my iPhone and I’m confused on being able to use the app if I’m connected to the projectors Wi-Fi if I go back to my local network, then it would stop casting on my iPhone

It won't work in all scenarios, especially if a computer is not involved. If your launch monitor uses the wifi for your phone you won't be able to connect to the projector that way. You may have to end up doing a USBC to HDMI adapter as a result. On a computer it works a little easier as the computer will be able to pick up the program as a secondary display to connect to wirelessly. However if the launch monitor is using the computer's wifi in the same way there are some launch monitors in which the wireless setup will not work according to BENQ. In these cases, an HDMI cord directly would be required.

I was wondering what projectors you may have seen or tested that are brighter. I am concerned with the lighting for my swing cams this is going to look washed out. I was hoping to have to spend $4,000. Thanks

Here are a couple others that I like: EIKI 308U (Backordered Until Dec. 13): mygaragegolf.com/collections/projectors-and-projector-mounts-1/products/eiki-ek-308u-3lcd-golf-simulator-projector 6000 lumens so very bright. Slightly longer throw ratio than some others. Has corner correct, vertical and horizontal lens shift, etc. Good quality but is a lamp based projector. BENQ TK710STI: mygaragegolf.com/collections/projectors-and-projector-mounts-1/products/benq-tk710sti-4k-laser-golf-simulator-projector Listed as less lumens but a brighter image actually from several clients I've talked with that have it and love it. Up to 4k resolution and laser projector. Higher End: BENQ LU935ST: mygaragegolf.com/collections/projectors-and-projector-mounts-1/products/benq-lu935st-4k-golf-simulator-projector One level below the top BENQ LK936ST, Laser, Has all the features plus 5500 lumens.

I can’t get it working on my screen 2.6x2.5 m scream and if I try to change settings on the pc display option it makes my monitor screen smaller. If I can’t get it working it will be going back.

I never change settings on the PC. Connect it to the device you want to display on your projector, set your parameters and leave it. Change the standard aspect ratio on the projector as well from auto to 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10 based upon the size of your screen. If your projector has a higher display resolution than your monitor than make the projector the main display. If they are different resolutions and you are duplicating your screen then one will always be smaller than the other.

Any chance of a black friday sale on this? Also is it me or is it not that bright especially in the parts of your video with some lights on. Seems like 4000 lumens should be brighter.

@@LeftyMurph Definitely not the brightest projector I’ve tested for sure. The technology on it though, however, is pretty darn awesome. As stated in the video I would’ve liked to have seen a little bit brighter image out of the box, but it is definitely a good quality projector when you can have it in a darker environment without a lot of ambient light. I have not heard any word on any black Friday sales from Ben Q at this point, though if I do hear of anything, I will alert everyone right away on our website.

I agree. I had one and other than the slight ease of setup (which is no big deal to do manually as you only do it once) this was not at all impressive. It was no brighter than the $300 Chinese unit I was going to replace it with. A lot of $ for just the setup feature.

@@JT-oy3sc exactly, I'm not sure it's "actually" 4000 lumens because my buddy has a different benq w/ 4000 lumens and it's very bright. I read somewhere (can't recall) that it's actually 2800 lumens, but they can claim 4000 on the "bright" setting.

@@GarageGolf Any chance you could clarify with benq if its ACTUALLY 4000 lumens or if it's just a gimmicky bright setting? Again I've just personally experienced 4000 lumen projectors that are far brighter. This seems about as bright as the 671

@@LeftyMurph I did ask and they did say it is actually 4000 lumens. Since I did use corner correct on my video that will take some of the brightness away is what I am being told.

Coming from someone who doesn’t have a simulator yet… What’s causing the “waves” of green to yellow color changes on your screen during your bright/golf mode demonstration ? It seems that would be quite distracting while playing a game.

Great point! I should've mentioned this is only caused by the camera filming the screen and cannot be seen by the human eye. Has something to do with frames per second. I've adjusted multiple camera settings but can't seem to fix it. It is called "banding" I believe and can only be seen on camera. You do not see this in person. Kind of how with old school tv's when it was recorded on camera you would see the same thing.

Out of the three my suggestion would most likely be the TK710STI to be honest. It has a really good image and corner correct as well. Not the brightest projector but a very clear image and 4k resolution.
