Being able to gain space and have things organized, I think that's a never ending battle, I have way more space in a barn/garage where I work and still struggle with those 😂 maybe one day after I finish a couple of jeeps I'll have some space. The cabinet is sure a great addition! Keep up the good work!

In my experience, tool chests free up way more space than they occupy as they provide so much storage in a small overall footprint. Got the same box on the way, very excited 👍

I have 2 of the series 2 56" boxes. I couldn't justify the extra $300 the series 3 cost, but I DO like the two full width drawers at the top. Saving $300 on the close out for series 2, almost pays for the hutch that I'll buy next year.

Great video and nice tool box! I figured you must be in Tech (I am as well). I know that stack of papers all to well - don’t tally up the total lol! I bought a similar box from HF 2 years ago and it’s really great. I think you’ll will like the side box and top piece, etc it’s a nice package.

You ever get so tired of the tech that you just wanna go work on the most low tech/no tech things possible? The less electricity the better? With chisels and hand tools, the problem is never DNS. And the Jeep has no computers, no complicated sensors, you don't have to worry about firmware updates, driver updates, the four letter word that is Oracle, misapplied patches, end users, printers, endless log files, the next security flaw with a CVSS score of 10, being on call 24/7...

@@SunkCostGarage exactly!! You couldn’t have summed it up better! That’s exactly why I enjoy working on these old Jeeps .. not to mention all I do is sit all day and stare at a screen, this stuff is good physical activity and really gets my mind off all the other stress. I love the “low tech” mechanical aspect - especially when you think of what they had to work with back then it’s amazing the things people were able to accomplish.

My biggest problem is space and hoarding lmao when my dad passed I took too much from his shop and my stuff as well and some of my brother and moms things being stored as well. I’ve made room for my impala in the garage but that compacted all my other things that I haven’t seen in years now :( I’ve got basically 3 car garage space for my things and the lady has her parking spot. Been slowly moving towards organizing and tossing things but I need a dumpster and a week vacation to focus on it. Lol one day. One day… ;)

I understand the hoarding tendencies. I hold onto a lot of stuff that I probably shouldn't. Maybe someday I'll win the lottery and be able to build a place with more room for projects and storage that makes sense for once.

My mother found an old spark plug gap that belonged to my father today. It was REALLY old school. Used bent wire instead of an increasing slop machined aluminum edge as a gap measuring tool. It only had like 8 different gap sizes. She asked if I wanted it. I'm not into collecting and it would be useless to me. It's a neat nostalgia thing, but worthless in all reality.

about how heavy is it? I'm thinking of picking it up but I would need to get it out of the back of my pickup

The shipping label said around 400 lbs. Definitely a 2 person job to unload. [edit] According to the specs, the product weight is 366 lbs but the shipping weight is 446.6 lbs. The pallet they come on is plywood so it's heavy.

For the vintage style embossed labels? Just a modern version of the Dymo label maker, they can be found on Amazon and other office supply retailers. (Though mine broke after a few weeks of use. I'd rather get on eBay and find a real vintage one that still works with modern 3/8ths label tape.)

I to purchase this 56 inch tool chest. It's on order, be here next week so I really wanted to watch your review of this rollaway.. The issue I have is your background music is so obnoxious It was impossible for me to focus on what you were saying. I don't understand why KZbinrs think that background music helps while somebody's trying to talk to its audience and have obnoxious music in the background.. my two cents. I know this box will serve you well. Could you please let me know if you decide to eliminate the music and I can come back and watch your review. Thank you.
