Keep the garage organization coming! I know you said not to mention bins, but hear me out, place large dry erase stickers on the front of the bin and label what’s in the bin, you can also build racks for the bins to slide in and out so your not stacking.

There are some pretty killer tote setups now. Uses a 17 gallon tote I believe and let's you slide them in and out easily

Yeah and tape a marker on a string to every other bin so you don't walk off with them or need to find a marker to label it

Super tiny add on: Dry erase markers go bad and dry out WAY faster if they are upright or pointed down. You want them horizontal.

This but, You get one of then Instant mobile photo printers and literally tape a picture of whats inside of them to the front. Classic sneakerhead tip. Instead of going through 30 identical nike boxes. just print a little pic and tape it on box. The printers are so cheap these days

I use similar shelf’s in my shop. Two shelf’s can make “three” shelves. Take the bottom two shelf’s from one of the units and add to the fourth end section you haven’t used. This lets you put tool carts or engines under a rack with two upper shelves. Also go get some 1/4” plywood and cut it to fit the shelves. Really helps when you put small items on from falling thru the grates.

Saying it again. 4 post in the spot where you’re unused bathroom is. Do one like Taylor ray that has multiple levels. You have a few cars that just sit. Assuming you want to keep them, using the vertical space of that lift with 3 cars on it would be super helpful. You then open up multiple cars worth of room on the floor to use for extra lifts, a tool setup, fab area. Whatever you want.

10:40 that is for dust, like filler dust, because when you sweep it gets kicked up into the air and settles on everything. So sawdust captures it when you sweep to make it easier and faster to clean

Move the fab corner to the DW corner! More room for material storage and machines/tools. You can move the lifts over in front of the loading doors. Im not trying to push a product by any means, but I recently purchased one of those Vevor floor sweepers, and my god, I can not speak highly enough of it. Its the best $100 bucks I've ever spent on "tooling" for my shop. My shop stays swept and clean at all times, all thanks to that sweeper. These re organizing videos are scratching my OCD just right. Hey just a recommendation, you can have more shelve space utilizing that fourth leg. Remove the two bottom pieces from each side and attach them to the fourth piece. It wouldnt exactly match each side but you can have larger pieces like hoods or seats off the floor. Also, costco has those shelves and bins cheaper than homesssdepo.

That 4 cylinder bmw is m43. My first e36 had one in. Best engine ever, for a 17 year old. That engine, was redline in every gear. Had it until I was 34 years old. When it blow up. Due to bad service history 😅

Consider some cables for hanging stuff above the office bathroom area. Cables are great for hanging light awkward stuff that won't get deformed from being hung over time. You can use those tiny u bolt clamps to separate stuff and also paper towel or wrapping paper tubes with a slit cut in them to fit over the wire. You can also string a long taught cable over open areas. A string connected to the first item so you can pull them all back in without having to use a ladder.

In a large shop like yours, you need the shelving like what everything at Home Depot is sitting on, 12-14ft tall to really maximise space 💯
