Mary, you & John got a very good haul at excellent bargain prices. Those Peter Rabbit themed cups may have been vintage Royal Doulton or Wedgewood in authentic Beatrix Potter editions. Some cups sell for $25+ on eBay. If the cups were each from 3pc sets (cup with a coordinated plate & bowl, meant to be child size) they sell for $100+ , especially with their original box. The graphics on the boxes and care booklet inside are beautiful, also. Our daughter (now 40yo) has 20 figurines and 2 Wedgewood 3pc sets, as newborn gifts from her Godmother and some cousins in Ireland. ❤🇮🇪

You really do need to go on down the road a little farther to Springfield,Ohio. The Springfield Antique and Flea Market Extravaganza. It is twice a year, May and September, but monthly sales the rest of year. It is the most fun junkin’ I have ever done! You need to spend an entire day there and then another day at local antique stores. One day all to visit the Heart of Ohio Antique Center. This store is unbelievable..even if you buy nothing..so much to learn just by looking! If you go..do research/watch KZbin so you will be prepared 😂happy day to you Mary❤(KH)

Mary always love your videos, all the way from Ireland…the little rabbit cup, you without knowing gifted my heart a beautiful memory because these are from the Peter Rabbit stories and drawings of Beatrix Potter and are stories I read to our children at bedtime.:when our son was born a friend gifted our son a little Peter rabbit cup and we treasure this almost 30 years later as bout our friend and our gorgeous son no longer walk this earth. So thank you for a beautiful reminder this morning xxx

Hi Mary, I use the terra cotta plant waterer. ( If that's what you call it). Instead of just adding water to it, you would stick a bottle of water in it. I fill up an old bottle of wine with water (or any bottle with a neck) and place it in the terra cotta waterer. I hope this makes sense. It keeps your plants watered for a week or two. Great finds! Always fun to take road trip with the spouse! He drives and I love to look at all the scenery.

The Terracotta plant auto watering devices are cool, my wife bought some and they are made to use old wine bottles in them. Just fill with water and turn upside down and push in to soil. Cool idea.

Pre soak the terra-cotta plant waterers as you would with a terracotta casserole dish. Then pop a round of wood on top to slow the evaporation from the opening. Such great overall finds today. I also love a recycled bargain.
