I have decided to sell my 4 nissan 240sx's and do a m30 vert with a z32 engine and mt. I live in California, so this is one of the few smog legal BAR reffed swaps. Same vibe as you, something street VIP. Look forward to what you got going on in the future vids

Hell yeah dude! A twin turbo Z32 engine?Definitely keep some 240 parts too so you can swap the M30 over to S13 coilovers. Let me know if you need any help with the Z32 trans swap as well man, thanks!

@@Midnight_Oil_MFG. I wish I held onto those elusive S13 front ABS hubs and knuckles! I stripped a Super HICAS at the junkyard years ago and didnt think I had a use for them back then so I sold them. I do have a couple Z32 brake sets and rear ends. The R31 skyline coilovers fit the M30 perfect, the rears need no mods and front only requires S13 lower mount if running s13 knuckles/lcas

Im looking into Silver Racing r31 coilovers, im calling the manufacture monday to see if they can sell s13 lower mounts seperate. they are a monotube made for street and the heavier skyline, so valving would match better than s13. also no modding rear tops at all. Im ready for some classic 90s jdm VIP vibes

@@adamwing9301 Yeah R31 stuff fits but it's obviously just hard to come by. If you did wanna go the S-chassis route and keep ABS then you could go with S14 ABS hubs and then just drill out the strut to knuckle bolt holes on S13 coilovers to make it work. That'll probably force you into doing a 5 lug conversion though which may or may not be preferable to you. I think for that you need Q45 rotors to work with M30 calipers (you can swap S or Z brakes over but the rotors are smaller because M30s are pigs lol) and you can swap the rears with Z31 hubs but don't quote me on that. So yeah depending on if you want to deal with all that or not, R31 coilovers may be the move haha Definitely gonna be sick no matter what man!

I used: NA Z32 Manual transmission (30A) 88-94 VG30E (SOHC) Maxima Flywheel Z31 Clutch Kit Z32 Throw out bearing Z31 Clutch Pedal Assembly Z31 Clutch Master Cylinder Z32 Clutch Hydraulic Line Z32 Slave Cylinder Custom Driveshaft The swap is pretty easy considering the car never came in manual. The only fabrication work I had to do was cut and weld the clutch pedal to match the pedal positioning of the M30. I also cut the bottom of the M30's brake pedal off and welded on a manual brake pedal. You'll have to do some basic wiring, but everything else is plug and play.
