For 88-91 ebrake cables that fit (CRX=short, DA=long) use 92-95 Civic Si or 93-95 Civic EX coupe (not sedan). They are the exact same length as the EF3/EF9 ebrake cable. The bolt brackets from the 88-91 HB easily swap over to the 92-95 cable and allows for a seamless install in the factory location.

If not, any suggestions?

Alvaro Urbaez 96-00 Civic EX or 99-00 Civic Si. All of those have rear disc brakes and will be the correct length.

Supp bro me again , so I found a 91 Acura and I was able to take the rear trailing arms and disk brakes ..my question is can I use my Si e-brake or do i use the ones from the Acura? Also what type of brake lines should I look for ?

If you have drums, you have to use the Integra ebrake cables. You can pick whatever lines you want. Get them for a 90-93 Integra.

This it's a great video, very helpful. Though I have just one question. Can you keep the original e-brake cables, or is it a must to replace them? I ask the question because my EF LX came with the rear disc conversion already, but am having issues with my e-brake, I've adjusted it as much as possible from the center console but, really makes no big difference. Thank you!!!

You can't use drum cables, you need disc brake cables. They are not the same. You can purchase the cables brand new also if you want to try replacing them. You may want to see if the caliper is sticking where the cable is attached to it.

Much appreciated guys, I'll jack up the car and remove them completely, to see what's the issue.@@GarageBuiltHondas

So I have a crx and I was curious if you knew how to make a DA e brake cable work. Due to the increased length.
@GarageBuiltHondas6 жыл бұрын
Loop them around underneath close to the gas tank. I've never done it but s good friend had it done on his crx. I want to see it but have never had the chance yet.

Hey there quick question. Can I use the same lower arms where the shocks go For a 88 crx The 89 and 88 and different rear shocks Can the lower arms be interchangeable? Or do I have to use the 89 si shocks too?
@GarageBuiltHondas5 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use them on each other by swapping the rear lower control arms also.

Yes

No, they are long enough. But drum lines are different than disc lines.

Hey. Good day men. How can i do rear disc to a wagon? Is it posible? A big hug from Dominican Repúblic

It's become easier. There are some people making metal brackets to bolt to the original trailing arm. Speak to efparts.com. The owner is working on something. Tell him I sent you!!
