The resulting look with the wide tires fitting nicely into the custom shop rear fenders is impressive and bold. The shape of those fenders says: "Look at me". Well done Preston, well worth the wait. Take care.

Hell yea, that thing is really looking good put together and with those wheels and slicks. You killed it, especially for doing most of it by yourself in your free time. Now it's almost time for you to enjoy the fruits of your labor going down the strip.

You got to think about sun light at high noon. That’s when the most damage happens to paint. So putting a light larger then the car above it and marking the ““sun spots is the place to sand down to make the look your going for.

Preston, I'm so proud of you mate, I remember when you started on this project, and cutting the body in half, the pains of widening it, and getting that right, even when I tried to get you to just have a try to see what the front fenders looked like on the back, but now look at the little "Bugger" how relieved you must be to be at this point, and I suppose like building a house, it will never be finished as you will always be tinkering on it. A question please are you going to put a lexan divider between you and the engine area? Not only for noise reduction but for safety. And maybe a roof scoup to direct air down into the engine area, being summer, your way I could imagine you sticking your head out the door right now would give you an indication of what extra cooling on the engine will do for performance. I can't wait to see how your driving skills evolve Good luck in it's next part of your journey. Tony from Western Australia 🇦🇺
