Great list. For football, judo and law enforcementI recommend you add: Wet bath towel, start from one end and squeeze the hell out of that thing, get all the water out. Towel pull ups, towel curls, towel cable pulls...grabbing cloth is critical to control and winning. I love the curl bar with the balls coach, that’s awesome! Must be a great tool to teach that grip on the opponent wrist.

Been doing plate flipping for 3 months now. Great exercise as it involves a equal mix of strength and neurological connection. Start off light as you WILL drop them & be prepared as your hands will hurt in the beginning between your fingers & thumb until the skin thickens up. Your forearms & strength will grow with quick results.💯 *You can also get creative and do them in various speeds from arm to arm. Explosive is a good way of explaining.

Do you know where I can get a shot put bar? Those shot put curls look very efficient for grip training.
@GarageStrength4 жыл бұрын
@@travisradovan5600 So we actually had this specially built for our gym. You would likely have to contract someone to build one for you, but a cheap alternative is to drill a hole into a softball where you attach a screw hook that you can hang weights on. This will work the same idea, just different distribution of weight. Hope that helps 💪

This reminds me of an exercise from USMC boot camp called chicken wing. You grab the front sight post of your M16 your hand pinching 🤏 it between your thumb and fingers, arm straight out at shoulder level at least that’s how we started😂 builds not only strength but a bonus of character too

Surely deadlifting does the job on its own- if you can deadlift 500lbs, your grip is strong
@Account21293 жыл бұрын
@@ToddTommow My point was that the deadlift will strengthen your posterior chain and your grip at the same time. They are hard on your CNS, but you can recover in 48 hours as long as you're not doing silly amounts of volume.
